I stay here a lot for business. The good is that you can use the world class gym for free, its about the best gym in Brussels. The rooms are generally ok. The location is close to the EU. Lots of EU folks stay here so the bar is pretty boring place unless you want to listen to self-important bureaucrats... more

I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past year, once in June, 2008 and now again in June 2009. This hotel, despite what the details suggest, does not have air conditioning. It was not working in any of the rooms nor in the lobby. This lasted the entire two days of my stay this time and the several days... more

I'll start with the conclusion, so we really enjoyed staying in this hotel as it is in a nice quiet location, but close to all the famous places/palaces, etc. Staff was very friendly and solved our problems immediately. We would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to relax or for business to Brussels. For more details read on :-) Room... more

I stayed here with my wife because of your wedding anniversary. We had a very nice, clean and spacious room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good, with a lot of choice. Another nice thing was the possibility to park your car for free. Overall a wonderful expererience. more

We stayed here on the last leg of our honeymoon. Whilst the breakfast was good the rest of the hotel was awful. 1. The room was simply dirty with mould in the coffee cups, dirt on the floor, wall paper peeling away and a general feeling that the room was old and tired. 2. Damaged toilet, sink and bath. 3.... more

Renaissance hotel is a good hotel in the EU quarters. The rooms are of good size and the staff is nice and helpful. But as a guest since several years I have noted that things are not so good as they used to be. There is no longer a minibar in the room, no sewing kit, no shoe shine rag,... more

A business trip to Belgium and this hotel was the best one, based on location. A train ride (3 euro) from the airport into Gare Centrale. A friend waited for me, so I got to the hotel by car. The hotel is about 5 min walk from the Trone (metro station). Check-in was quick and the staff were very helpful.... more

My husband and I stayed here a few weeks back and we absolutely loved it. Parking was a bit difficult for us to find when we arrived and the traffic was a nightmare. We arrived before check-in and our room wasn’t ready so we parked and walked around for a little while and ate at a nearby café. We were... more

After having stayed at other Renaissance properties, I found this property to be disappointing, and lacking the style of others. At check in, I requested a king bed, and was told that the room did have one. Upon entering the room, it did not have a king bed. I called the front desk to request another room and the first... more

The Renaissance is almost right in the heart of the EU in Brussels. It is an area frequented by expats, and for a non-French/Flemish speaker it is an easy place to get by. I was quite surprised at the mordern look and feel of the hotel, but at the same time a little bit disappointed to not experience a more... more
