Working in a 5 star hotel myself, I'm not only used to a high standard, but I know what to expect when staying in other hotels. When you first walk into the hotel, the reception area is probably not the best first impression, with some tatty pieces of furniture and not the best interior design I've ever seen. However, that... The decoration of the hotel is excellent! Our room was huge with commodious bed! Hotel is not very big and it is easy and fast access to every room. Staff was very polite and friendly! Location is far from the city center, you need to use public transport to get there. Parking near the hotel if free from 9pm till... More

This hotel and its staff has largely exceeded my expectations: both the rooms and the beds are large, comfortable and very quiet. The staff is really welcoming. I would only lower the price of breakfasts, as otherwise I'd have taken breakfast at the hotel.

There was something i liked very much in the Hotel despite old fashion material. A certain atmosphère, their sofas...I found staff busy but very Nice. The bad Stuff is the bathroom where there were some material missing. Wifi was ok. Food too.

The hotel rococo decoration is a bit outdated, but not really a problem. The entrance hall, front desk area and brekafast room were a bit dark, but also not really a problem. WIatress/waiter in breakfast room tended to be too slow in clearing tables when guests had left and tended to be loud when speaking with each other. Breakfast selection... More

My interaction with the hotel's personnel was great. I arrived early for my check in and was accommodated without too much waiting. Paul at front desk was exceptional. The room is slightly dated with its decor, as expected from a boutique hotel and from pictures seen online. What I did not like was the chipped sink and bathtub. Two black... More

Don't pay too much attention on the outdated decor. Behind you will appreciate efficient and polite staff, well renovated room and complete breakfast. The tram passes in front of the hotel for cheap transportation. 10 minutes walking distance to Place du Chatelain where you will find interesting restaaurants and bars.

We only stayed here for a night but it was a great experience. I think that decoration is completely subjective, what one person may like another one may not, I thought the decoration was tasteful and classic. We had a total of 3 people and they provided a mattress for the third person to sleep in. The rooms are big,... More

Very out dated decor and definitely not retro-chic either! Comfortable bed though, nice bedding. My room was quite roomy. Nice to have a separate toilet and bathroom. Staff were very pleasant and eager to please.
