The front desk and restaurant staff where very friendly and helpful. Great job housekeeping my room was super clean. But I think overall it is time for a renovation of the room's, the decor is out of date.

The location is very close to the train station Gare du Nord, on the same corner with a Metro station, round the corner with the main shopping centre and tourist attractions. The rooms were comfy, decently sized, well equipped, although the bathrooms need an upgrade. Buffet Breakfast was very good, restaurant clean and service was prompt. The receptionists were very... Been there for one night. Air con was not working at all! There was so much hot in the rooms, so i should open the windows. Outside lamp that SHOULD light the hotel wall was lighting in my room!!! Breakfast was awful. Plastic spoons and glasses! Coffee was so bad and disgusting. Except location. Its ok. Never recommend

Tired, dirty, wifi was not working, tv remote not working, bed covers were not clean, pillows very uncomfortable, staff unwilling to help. Not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. Reported them to the authority responsible for hotel ratings! Will never stay there again even if they have the last available room in Brussels.

Friendly enough hotel a 15 minute walk from the centre of Brussels old town. Nice original Art Deco design but in need of a complete refurbishment. The room I had (and bathroom) was very tired (1970's), functional but not what you'd expect in a 4 star hotel... The bar is in an adjacent restaurant where you also have breakfast. The... More

The hotel is good but does look a little dated. I stayed for two nights in a very nice sized room on the third floor at the front of the hotel. It's a little noisy with the window open, but I didn't find this too distracting. The room itself, bathroom, tea/coffee and tv were adequate for my stay, though the... More

We were here in May 2015 and booked over the internet. The hotel seems to be a bit past its prime. The location is very nicely accessible through metro (although and train and close to the main shopping street and most of the old town is within walking distance. The street the hotel is on however, is quite a noisy... More

Good hotel, cleaner than I thought from what I'd read in other reviews before... it does smell often of tobacco in the hallways, even if it's supposed to be forbidden. Not quite a 4 star hotel, although it's clean and the decoration and building are worth seeing, as well as the location. The worst part is the breakfast, of a... More

The hotel was nice, very close to the centre and the staff very friendly. We stayed here for one night only. Was good value for money, basic breakfast. The rooms were okay as well, average. But the WiFi was so so bad. That was the only thing off for me. Apart from that, good stay.

Yes it's tired, needs a facelift and like going back to the 1980s, but I quite liked the kitch retro feel. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious, warm, tea/coffee and I had an excellent quality sleep, so apart from the naff decor, I thought the hotel was fab. We asked for a quiet room and had a large room on... More
