This hotel is unique in that it is mostly staffed by one person, except during working hours when there are cleaners. Everything else is done by vending machines. The room, while quite small, was fantastic to rest our heads while visiting Brussels. It was always clean (cleaned everyday), aircon was great, and had a modern feel. The WiFi was free... More

I stayed here for one night. It was near the center - turned out to 300-400 m, economically - also fit into the budget and nice interior - for making this app the Manager. The staff is very friendly, helps with registration and answer all questions on the facilities. Perhaps, for such hotels future!?))

This is an interesting concept. It's pretty much a self serve hotel. You check in using a "vending machine" sort of machine. There's always ONE staff member in case you need help, and the entire hotel is staffed by one person. It's equipped with vending machines forb snacks, coffee, beverages etc. Super clean and functional. Most important affordable becauseb hotels... More

Maxhotel is a bizarre place: you could virtually not see anyone the whole time you are there. The checkin happens in an entrance porch just outside the main doors on machines which are a bit confusing but eventually spit out your electronic key card. This allows you to open the main sliding doors and get into the hotel. The decor... More

Our room was a twin room, but the beds were pushed together, so if it wasn't for separate duvets it could have been a double, but they were comfortable. Room has its own temperature control which is always helpful - especially as you are not able to open the windows! Room size was adequate for 2 people with open suitcases,... More

Excellent rates for the clean and spacious rooms, reasonable location (15 min from city centre). Highly recommended. We were told that after 11pm you need to ring and call for gates to be opened though we didn't need it. WiFi was provided. For breakfast time apparently they leave some complementary croissants, may have them if you rise early (first come... More

It does not have the feel of a hotel. The staff are distant and clinical in their response to queries. The check in time of 3.00 p.m. is ridiculous; after travellling a person likes to check in and not have to ramble the streets for hours. Check in is by machine and there was only one working. There was a... More

A greatly recommend budget hotel with excellent value for money. Located not to far from the station. A large pedestrian shopping street on the backside. The room are larger than Ibis with quality bed. the self service bar on 1st floor is with good design.

If you don't want to spend much on a hotel in Brussels, this is a good option. I feared it might be dumpy, but it was clean, newly renovated, modern. The rooms were small, but comfortable. There is no room service, reception area or anything like that. We forget to get our code before checking in, so we used the... More

Stopped over for 1 night when passing through Belgium. The location was a stone throw from the 24 hour parking (22 euros) and strolling distance to the shopping area, bars and Grand Place. The htoel is designed to be staff minimal and is geared up well. One floor has a vending machine for all eventualites, from the usual food, to... More
