Wonderful 4 nights stay. The room was newly redecorated, the food in the restaurant was excellent, and the included breakfast was a winner. The location is beautiful, and convenient to getting into Brussels, as well as touring other local sites. more

The staff were friendly and this hotel had the making of a decent place to stay but the building works rather put us off. Also if you are in a wheelchair make sure you have sat nav ! Restaurant looks out over the lake and the bar meal was fine. Room was functional if a bit souless. Make sure you... more

This should be a 5 star hotel but we were not really impressed. We booked this through a website that has special arrangements so it was not too expensive, but normally you pay a lot of money to stay here. Our room was average. I did like the great breakfast buffet. more

I stayed in this hotel for more then 3 years at least one night a week (and in the period 1985 - 2002 I stayed at least 6 times a year). Overall at least 100 nights spent in this place. The location of the hotel is great, nice view over the lake. The hotel itself is absolutely no value for... more

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Its situated beautifully with plenty of land and a huge lake surrounding the hotel. Plenty to do if you went in a month when the weather is better. The staff were friendly and could not do more to help us out in finding our way around Brussels itself. We... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here in September 2007. We stayed in this hotel because the hotels in the centre of Brussels were extremely expensive and this seemed to offer better value. You can get half hourly trains from Brussels-Nord station to Genval and then it's about a five minute walk to the hotel. The train journey takes about half... more

Stayed at the hotel for business (2 days conference). This is not really Brussels, but a remote suburb called Genval. The hotel claims to be a 5*! Location: Calm street on a nice lake, 10 min walk to train station Genval - if you find the right direction (I didn’t), plus>30 min by crappy train to Brussels, or depending... more

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely setting, outside the city but just 20 minutes to the airport and center (except during rush hour!). Rooms are luxuriously furnished and many have a view of the lake. Great breakfast in a castle room with huge working fireplace in the winter. Wonderful fitness center, with steam bath, sauna, rooftop pool with... more

More of a business hotel but nice getaway for what it is. The staff were helpful, the bar was nice, the restaurant was phenomenal, price is okay but try to get a discount. The lake is quite pretty and for Brussels, it is a nice experience as it is different from the city hotels. Keep in mind that the taxi... more

A lovely location, within reach of Brussels with a car or by train. Surrounded by amazing countryside, lakes and wondeful views. The hotel itself looks like a castle from the outside and inside the rooms are clean and comfortable, even with major decorating going on they still managed to make it seem quiet. The fitness centre is lovely, the pool... more
