We stayed for 2 nights in April and while it was a nice enough hotel, we didn't spend much time in the hotel. It's a short walk to the Grand Place and all the neat little streets, cafes, and shops. Also very close to the Central train station. The lights turn off and on based on when people are walking... more

We stayed there for two nights. It's a small, nice hotel near the city center. However, the underground station is not nearby. We took a taxi from the central train station to the hotel when we first arrived Brussel. it cost us 15 euro for 5 minutes ride, and the taxi driver didn't turn on the meter. So if you... more

Quiet small hotel (32 rooms), very conveniently located near the Grand Sablon. Room not enormous but clean. TVs now have cable tuner (a little fiddly to control and take up desk space). Free wifi works well (on floor 2) Breakfast not included in price and at €13 a little expensive, esp. since hot choice was very limited. more

This is a good hotel with large, welcoming rooms. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and modern. The lighting could be better in the bedroom as it was quite gloomy which made putting on make-up quite difficult! The staff coped well at check-in and check-out with quite a large group of guests, and went the extra mile to pass on... more

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend getaway. We booked it through the Eurostar website. We wanted somewhere close to all attractions but not in the centre of it all. We walked from Grand Midi and found it very easy to find. Yes, we were slightly surprised to find the road outside being dug up but we were... more

Eurostars Sablon is just okay. I would not recommend it. The lobby was nicely decorated, the location is pretty good (close to many restaurants, shopping, and the Centraal station). However, there were many poor aspects. The curtain in the shower was moldy. There is no air conditioning. The shower didn’t work great, because the water cord to the head was... more

What a disaster. I was shocked when we entered the street the Eurostars Sablon is located on to see the entire street in front of the hotel dug up. Major road construction is going on right outside the hotel. The work starts at 7:00 am but workers and equipment noise woke me at 6:00 am. To make matters worse, the... more

I was a little worried about booking this hotel, but I booked 2 nights anyway. When we first walked into our room, I was impressed. The room was roomy and so was the bathroom. However, the air conditioning did not work, it blew out hot air. This wouldn't have been a problem since the weather was great and it was... more

The room was recently remodeled. New and meticulously clean. The bathroom was great, clean and modern! The hotel was a 5 minute walk to both the train station and the Grand Place. The daily breakfast, 13 Euros, was well worth the money. the food was fresh and tasted wonderful. This was a moderate priced hotel where the staff spoke English,... more

The Alfa Sablon was a charming hotel. Nothing really too fancy. Don't expect the Inter-Cotinental or Ritz Carlton. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. An good continental breakfast is served downstairs.. I can't remember if you have the option to order hot food for breakfast. There is really no need for the hotel to serve lunch... more
