Hotel le plaza is a good old fashioned hotel. Very close to the city centre and has a choice of trains, metro and trams all within walking distance. There is free wi-fi in the rooms. The staff were friendly and courteous. The room was cleaned and towels changed everyday and the bed turned down each evening with a chocolate on... More

Me and my friends stayed at this luxurious hotel in August, when all business people goes on vacation and the hotel prices sky dive. We got an offer for three nights in double rooms for the price of two, with breakfast included. A truly amazing price! This hotel is perfect for sightseeing in Brussels. -Close to subway (Rogier station) -10... More

Like my title says, depending on what you are looking for you might like the place. Food is expensive, so if you want a place with breakfast or room service(at an additional charge) this might not be the best choice. Yes, there are a few sex toy stores diagonally opp the place. That was one of the first things we... More

We booked a mini-break to see the Flower Carpet and were happy with our stay here. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Grand Place (aka Grote Markt), so it is nice and central. We got a little more than we bargained for booking this place as there are some rather seedy stores near it - I think... More

The hotel is quite imposing from the outside and lobby is charming however reception staff are not friendly at all making check-in far from pleasant. We had 2 rooms on the 7th floor - both looked out onto a concrete quad; the rooms whilst clean desperately needed a lick of paint looking worn and tired. The bathroom door barely closed... More

What a grand, luxurious, old world lobby! It is so beautiful. Our room was spacious, with a lovely bathroom. The most amazing part was the service. Our driver had accidentally broken our suitcase handle and we still had 3 weeks of travel left. We asked about buying a luggage strap and the bellman, Mikael, volunteered to take our suitcase to... When checking in and asking questions to the front desk and concierge, the staff was very cold and even rude at times... I would expect more from a hotel that used to have 5 stars. The rooms were large and the bathrooms were clean and had a decent size. The loss of one star makes up for the lack of... More

Hotel Le Plaza is surely a grand hotel. Our high-ceiling room was very spacious, with luxury upholstery and bathroom fittings. For a summer weekend, this business-oriented hotel was available at what seemed to be a very attractive price, inclusive of their very good breakfast buffet. What wasn't to like about this? Things went sour at check-in, where the reception staff... More

No 5 star service, poor and lazy and boring rooms, no airco, breakfast is not a 5 star breakfast, but simple buffet without Brussels specialities. Ibis hotels have comparable breakfast. Breakfast room, reception room and entrance are beautifull. The hotel asks a lot of work to make it again 5 star worth! We expected a lot more from the Plaza... More
