This is a grand old hotel. They seriously don't build hotels like this anymore. Unfortunately, my experience was mixed. The location is pretty darn good for sightseeing in Brussels, although families and single women might not feel comfortable here because of the sex shops across the streets and a handful of strip clubs on side streets. Notwithstanding, I never felt... More

Christmas market stay when the city went on strike! Blackout, electricity off, no transport it wasn't hotels fault but utter nightmare stay & left very early. Breakfast was ridiculously expensive. Out of ten, not the best area.

Heard a lot about great history of this place in advance and set my expectation pretty high. Hotel is in the center of the city and looks very classic. However, for me it was a bit dilapidated to be rated as a excellent.

Stayed for one night when travelling in Belgium. Great central location, spacious rooms, true luxury feel when you stay in the hotel. Helpful and friendly English speaking staff. Elegant and cosy rooms - very pleasant experience

Beautiful high ceiling rooms and classic interiors, excellent location in the heart of Brussels, acceptable breakfast selection, good staff, lovely little hotel bar, one of the better hotels in Brussels. Will stay here again on my next visit.

Booked for a Waterloo battlefield tour by our guide so no part in hotel selection. Hotel is in the heart of Brussels within walking distance of city centre. Hotel itself is immaculate, great friendly staff, very clean, comfy bed, good shower ... and great food at breakfast. Small gym, with running machine and stepper a multi station and some dumbbell... This was my first stay in this hotel. I normally prefer hotels closer to the Central Station. This time there was several meeting at this hotel that I should attend. A good hotel, not exceptional in any sense, but a good balance.

Our room was lovely and spacious - no complaints here. Central location. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Private parking is €30 per night/€16 per half day. Street parking is €21 but you have to feed the meter every 3 hours - free parking on Sunday. Breakfast not 5 star quality or setting but nice nonetheless. Two breakfast staff were untidily... More

This hotel is breathtaking from the moment you walk in! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who all speak fluent English. Warm and cozy bedrooms- which was a dream to come back to when it was freezing outside! Giant beautiful bathrooms BUT no outlets! As a girl, this was very frustrating. I had to get creative and plug my curling iron... More

This is a very nice hotel, especially given the price. It is located towards the north station - not a brilliant location but only a 10 minute or so walk to the centre. Check in is friendly and quick. My room was very big and gave a good feeling of spaciousness. Overall everything is a bit old, e.g. the carpets,... More
