I stayed in the hotel several Times before and mostly my concerns were about poor wifi which pratically never worked. This time i was pleasantly surprised, internet started to work just fine, for the purposes i needed the speed of the internet was enough and i managed to even make calls through internet. As usual great food in the restaurant... More

I was invited to participate at the business meeting and we had everything organized in this hotel (meeting, meals, sleep). It was also paid by organizer so I do not know exactly what the price was. Anyway I was very satisfied with my stay there. Room was very big and clean. I had a view to the yard and it... More

The hotel is well- located next to EU buildings. But it is surprisingly down market. The rooms are tiny, carpeting stained, staff indifferent and breakfast buffet just adequate. I was in a presidential suite, and it was no nicer than standard US business suite hotel room.

I wouldn't return. Reception team fine, breakfast ok, room ok, bed fine, bathroom ok...but all curiously soulless and airless. Unless you really have to be next to Berlaymont there are far better places. My room was paid by the commission but I really don't think it's worth the money. And the layout and decoration is a strange mix of space... More

The best things about this hotel is its location, if you're travelling for work and need to be near EU institutions. Otherwise, it urgently needs some refurbishment and modernization. The rooks are quite spacious, the beds medium comfortable, breakfast is good, staff are nice, rooms very dark, specially the entrance part of the room, the bathrooms functional but old-looking. The... More

We booked a room for two persons. It was clean but strangely only "equipped" for one person (one water glass in the bathroom, one coffee cup, one bathrobe) (?). Breakfast was really great: a buffet with cheese, salmon, fruits,.... The wellness/Spa seemed rather run down. Especially the Sauna which is in desperate need to get renovated.

In my opinion, the Hotel Silken Berlaymont Brussels is not worth the money. It is too expensive for such a bad wifi service and really small room and bed (90cm). Nearby hotels such as Martins Central offer larger rooms and beds, and a much better free wifi service for lower prices.

I've stayed here on a number of occasions and I find it very convenient for work. The rooms are OK but lighting is very bad, the beds are comfortable but single quilts are very frustrating. The hotel bar is comfortable and pleasant with friendly staff but there are numerous good bars in the area. I've had breakfast here a couple... More

I do realise that, at certain times when there are lots of things on in town, reasonably priced accommodation can be difficult to find in Brussels. Nevertheless, €270-ish seemed a ridiculous price to pay for a single occupancy room last week. The hotel is modern but rather Spartan, and the bedroom was dark and a little depressing, and quite confusing... More
