If you are looking for a filthy hotel room with a broken shower and staff walking a cat on a lead across the lounge bar then this is the one for you. I would avoid this hotel. Location was ok and staff were indifferent but the room was so bad that nothing could redeem this hotel for me...

Having stayed in Brussels many times before. I knew the location of the hotel would be great. A stones through from a metro station. The Berlaymont on the door step and great restaurants all around. The welcome was fantastic, staff excellent and friendly, breakfast great with an awesome range. The room was good, always struggle with the single bed joined... More

The conference facilities are very nice and the staff was very attentive. The rooms are very tired, but adequate. There were nicks in the paint and stains on the carpet. Someone left a wine bottle outside their door and it was there for at least 24 hours.

I stayed at the Hotel Silken Berlaymont in order to be close to the European Commission offices for meetings. It's just a short walk away. First impressions were of a well-appointed and modern hotel. The reception staff are friendly and professional. My room was very spacious compared to most I have stayed in this part of Brussels. The evening bar... More

I was invited to participate at the business meeting and we had everything organized in this hotel (meeting, meals, sleep). It was also paid by organizer so I do not know exactly what the price was. Anyway I was very satisfied with my stay there. Room was very big and clean. I had a view to the yard and it... More

The hotel is well- located next to EU buildings. But it is surprisingly down market. The rooms are tiny, carpeting stained, staff indifferent and breakfast buffet just adequate. I was in a presidential suite, and it was no nicer than standard US business suite hotel room.

I wouldn't return. Reception team fine, breakfast ok, room ok, bed fine, bathroom ok...but all curiously soulless and airless. Unless you really have to be next to Berlaymont there are far better places. My room was paid by the commission but I really don't think it's worth the money. And the layout and decoration is a strange mix of space... More

The best things about this hotel is its location, if you're travelling for work and need to be near EU institutions. Otherwise, it urgently needs some refurbishment and modernization. The rooks are quite spacious, the beds medium comfortable, breakfast is good, staff are nice, rooms very dark, specially the entrance part of the room, the bathrooms functional but old-looking. The... More

We booked a room for two persons. It was clean but strangely only "equipped" for one person (one water glass in the bathroom, one coffee cup, one bathrobe) (?). Breakfast was really great: a buffet with cheese, salmon, fruits,.... The wellness/Spa seemed rather run down. Especially the Sauna which is in desperate need to get renovated.
