Location is fabulous. 3 minutes from metro, great for access to excellent restaurants. We went for Christmas markets - 50m from them, but little noise, Unfortunately, we were greeted with "Your apartment is not available tonight. I have had a long term booking and they wanted to extend, so I couldn't refuse them." So we were inconvienced and made to... More

We stayed at Residence les Ecrins for two nights in a shared bathroom room, which at 55 euros a night was great for the price!! On arrival we got a really friendly and helpful welcome, including the hotel owner asking us where we wanted to visit and marking it on a map for us. He also recommended an amazing little... More

Where to start - love love love it. Stayed in the top floor apartment with views across the city chimney pots. Warm, clean, inviting twin beds on mezzanine and double lovely kitchen area and great lounge couldn't be improved for the price. Hosts a delight, we were early because of the train, no fuss allowed us to leave our things... More

I was on business for one day in Brussels and stayed here. Great little room, comfortable and clean. The owner was superb, told me a great walk around town and where all the good restaurants were. So much better than staying in one of the faceless corporate hotels.

This is a very quiet, central, cheap hotel, beside the St. Catherine Metro Station, in the heart of Brussels. The owners are very friendly, very helpful, and very polyglot. Breakfast is a pleasant Continental style, with tea or coffee, juice, breads, butter, jam, cheese, and pastries. The rooms are plain, but comfortable and quiet. There were a range of books... More

I stayed in Les Ecrins for 4 nights during my business trip to Brussels. Hotel is located in a serene place but very close to the center, 3 mins walk to the nearest Metro, 3 mins walk to the nearest Carrefour, and there are plenty of restaurant nearby. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He provided me with a... More

Recently stayed here on a work trip as my colleagues who regularly travel to Brussels recommended it. Located on a quiet road about a 2-3 minute walk to the metro station, it was perfect for our needs. The owners were really friendly and accommodating, particularly when one morning we had to leave really early before the usual breakfast period and... More

Stayed a couple of days there with two friends and was excellent. Really great spot in Brussels (only 5 min away from the city center) and awesome reception by the hosts Guy and Edward. Highly recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised at just how centrally located this hotel was! It is just a block away from a metro stop (which isn't necessary for the centre ville, which is just a close 5-10 minute walk away) in a small square lined with restaurants. I am not sure if he was the owner (I think so) but the lovely... More

My husband Alex and I stayed at Les Ecrins two weeks ago and we loved the place. It was very near the Gran Place, and has a Metro stop a few steps away from the hotel. Yet the ambiance is quiet and serene; a lovely oasis for resting after a whole day of visiting museums, and discovering new places. Our... More
