This is really a bad hotel. Dirty, smelly and small run down rooms.
Stayed at George V for two nights, after reading some reviews was a little apprehensive on what to expect. As the saying goes you get what you pay for, we weren't expecting luxury and it didn't disappoint. The room was clean pretty basic, take your own toiletries(, although there were wall mounted soap dispensers), also hair dryer was provided. Staff were...

Hotel was clean and in the heart of Brussels. Breakfast was advertised 7 till 10 if you didnt get to the breakfast room before 8.15 you didnt get any breakfast. When it was gone, it was gone, it didnt get replenished. A case of 1st come 1st served.. Hotel was fine if you are on a budget and it was...

stayed here for afew days in july 2011. The room was quite small and very basic but clean. Breakfast was included and was more than expected. Yoghurt, eggs and even ham. The hotel is 10 min. Walking from brussels city center. (grande place). A good place to stay if you are travelling to brussels on a budget.
The reviews about this hotel are polarised. I stayed here for three days and could find no real problem. I can only assume that the negative comments are from people expecting a great deal more for their money.
This is NOT a first class hotel but it is possibly the cheapest hotel in central Brussels.
It is a little difficult...

We arrived from Paris by train and were greeted by an indifferent male clerk who did not even say welcome. Just checked our papers and slammed the key down on the desk. The fridge did not work and when we reported it he seemed to know quite well that it was broken and reluctantly replaced it. There was no soap...

My room was very basic, the fittings and furniture were cheap and ill-considered and did not fit the room (too big); it did not feel pleasant to stay in it. The manager (owner?) was not welcoming and seemed unhappy: it was like he was trapped in this tired hotel not wanting to be there. I felt sad for the place....

Room was quite large. Went to have a shower and was no hot water. When I told hotel staff they did not believe me and sent someone with me to my room. They offered to switch us rooms. Gave me a dirty look when I said if my room doesn't have hot water, no room has hot water. Overall, not...

Very close to the Grand Square (5 minutes walking to Boeurse subway station and 7-10 minutes to Grand Square). Hotel build in an old wooden house, so it’s very noisy. The furniture is the room is new, but the cleanliness at the very bottom limit. The personnel is friendly but some of them speak only French or Dutch and know...
