Really nice hotel, location is very accesible and in a pretty quiet area. Staff is helpfull and friendly. Everything is always clean (they don't forget a single spot, which i love!). We stayed in a great room, which was pretty big, had a jacuzzi, good bed, nice television and (although the site doesn't mention that) a little cookingplace. The restaurant... More

We stayed here for two nights to attend a work conference. Unfortunately when I went to check in I had to wait over an hour because there was a problem with the machine for the key cards. This would have been ok, except I was told 3 times that it would just be a few minutes, which of course it... More

Martins Grand Hotel is situated right next to many Waterloo based businesses - therefore it is very easy to be centrally located. The rooms were ok, but the location of the room I was staying in was located through the dining hall / restaurant - which made it very strange to go back to my room while dinner was being... More

I stayed in this hotel in October 2013 because it was convenient for my Belgium colleagues and I was incredibly disappointed with the lack of customer service. On the second evening of my stay, drunk individuals were yelling loudly in the hallways and despite my two complaints to the night staff, they did nothing to curtail the behavior. The following... Nice hotel in good surrounding. Breakfast is not in the level of a 4star. I did not use the spa, so on that no comments. Rooms in Lodge are with a lot of space, clean, modern and comfortable. Parking is free of charge and enough space available.

Average hotel. Rooms in the main hotel are large but could use some paint. Bathrooms are clean and beds are ok. If you need to be in the area the hotel offers the facilties you need. I think the rooms need some refurbishment to be adapted to this centure (although they have an lcd tv). It is cheaper to stay... More

Stay here on business whenever in Waterloo and is an ok base. This time was my first in the 'annex' and I must say I was pleased with the experience. The rooms in the annex are clean, new, fresh and modern. I had a room right next to the lift but was never disturbed by any noise. As the only decent... More

I travel to Waterloo 4 times a year on business. If I can't stay in this hotel then I don't want to go. The restaurant is great. Due to my business I am usually Kate checking out and they are very understanding. I haven't had a disappointing experience in the last 2 years.

If you are visiting MasterCard you end up staying here because it is right next door. But the rooms are not cheap, the food is just average and the barman is incredibly rude, even by European standards. If you can stay overnight in Brussels and drive to your meeting then do it.
