I’m visiting from California. Tom greeted me and gave me multiple recommendations . Place itself is amazingly clean and is above all expectations . Location is superb, just walking distance to Cathedral. Bed and linens feel like home… Penthouse suite is highly recommended

Very easy access to the property from the train station. It only takes 15 minutes to get to Maison Nationale. Tom and Karen are very easy to communicate with. Tom was welcoming and explained a lot about the city. The rooms and the front door have a code. Easy to access. A spacious quiet clean unit with lots of room. They have a refrigerator and a microwave that are very convenient because there's a market across the street. We booked the room with breakfast included and it is served at a coffee bar close by. Breakfast was great!! Well worth it! They did our laundry, (same day service) for a very reasonable price.

A perfectly located hotel for exploring Antwerp. The hotel is small, but the rooms are large, comfortable and uniquely designed. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, and I definitely would come back. A parking garage is conveniently located less than a block away.

Found this place last minute. The location is incredible. We ended up in the loft suite. It was huge and had everything we needed. We were travelling with a three week old baby so the location meant we could pop back every time we needed to. There was paid parking close by. The bed was sooo comfortable. They provided us with a cot and there was a fridge. Would definitely book again if we come back to Antwerp.

The suite we had was perfect, it exceeded our expectations. Geographical location was perfect too. The maison is run by Karen & Tom which are lovely hosts, they will help you out wherever they can. Car could be parked right around the corner at Cammerpoorte. Breakfast was in a establishment 4 minutes walk away which was perfect too. Would definitely recommend going here.

We stayed here for a weekend in March 2020, right before the lockdown. The building is located in the center of the city and it's very nicely decorated. Our room was very spacious and stylish and perfect for a couple. Despite everything being great about this hotel, our biggest surprise were the owners and their attention to details. They left us lovely hand-written letters, sweets and everything was always perfect- our room had everything from the usual toiletries and towels to kitchenware and speakers. They were very nice and helpful with everything (she even assisted us in installing the bike rental app). For breakfast we received some vouchers for a lovely, cozy place nearby (half shop-half restaurant). The food was very good, with plenty of tasty and bio products and a great vibe. Everything about our short stay was special and carefully taken care of. We fully recommend this place!

We spent one night here and since we travelled by car it was convenient to be able to let ourselves in at a time that suited us, as their check in times are from 3pm-6pm. It is a very tiny street front and easy to miss, but we were sent via email detailed instructions and a picture of the store front next to it. The car parking (paid) is directly across the road, we parked on arrival and left the car there the next day while we went exploring, as the hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to most things. We had the Penthouse which was very clean and comfortable, with a nice personalised note and local cookies waiting for us on arrival. It is definitely suited to couples only as the bathroom opened onto the living area. The blinds on the windows are operated by an electronic system, there were plates and cutlery to use, a mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer and slippers. The drawbacks were that we found our room to be very hot, even though it wasn't a hot day and with only a fan to cool things down it would be very hot and stuffy on a hot day and the blinds did not block out all the light so if you like a dark room to sleep in, this room would not suit. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay

Stayed a couple of nights in a superior double. Very stylish & large open plan studio flat in monochrome colour scheme. The bathroom is open (only the toilet is in a separate room), which is fine for couples but may make for awkwardness otherwise. Very large & comfy bed. Fridge & mini bar, Nespresso machine, kettle, some plates and cuttlery and hairdryer. Barely heard any noise whilst we stayed. There was a temperature control in the room but we couldn't work it out - we were a little warm so just opened the window. The location is very central, a few minutes walk from all the main sights. There is a lift in the building if you are carrying luggage. We parked in the car park just opposite of Maison Nationale - it was 40 Euros for 2 nights. Please note that if you are driving into Antwerp you will need to apply in advance online for entering the low emission zone or risk a fine. We didn't see the hosts but all prior communication was very friendly and helpful. Arrival was super easy - we just had to type in a pin. Altogether had a brilliant stay and would definitely stay here again!

Good value apartment near the centre in Antwerp. Lots of places nearby for drinks and food. The apartment was tasteful decorated and was very clean. I had to wait a while to get a ironing board as there was none in the room and that meant I was delayed for a meeting. I would stay there again if on holiday in Antwerp but for business there are many full service hotels nearby.
