I was lucky enough to have the loft room 11 on the top (3rd) floor which was large. It was a beautiful room, with sloping walls, exposed beams, dormer windows with fab views of the cathedral esp at night, beautiful looking bathroom (more on that to come), nespresso machine, , great location and lovely public areas. The downsides were aloof... More

but otherwise - great location, very quiet, achingly trendy downstairs and breakfast was pretty good. Niggles were: (this is all basic stuff that they should be on top of) a. shower room (we had a dreamer room) was claustrophobic and had mould at the bottom of the shower b. door handle on balcony door hanging off as was a plug... We had a very bad experience at this place. We saw advertismeents everywhere, beautiful pictures on magazines and websites, so we booked. BUT: There is no personality, no warmth, no service at all in this hotel. Then everything is so dissapointing when you discover these white walls, and no service at all, from check-in until departure. We asked to see... More

Brief one night stay to visit Antwerp and I picked this hotel out as a special treat so be warned, my expectations were high. I found the employees friendly, the hotel wonderfully presented. I was rather disappointed however by our room (top floor, from staircase next to entrance lobby). The decoration was a little tired, the room felt too small... More

I am a regular visitor in Antwerp and have seen most B&B and Hotels. Location of Julien is good with paid parking nearby. Nice & clean room with great shower and enough water. Excellent Wifi. There are however excellent B&B in the same area with the same service and including breakfast € 80 per night cheaper! They have indeed no... More

great location just next to the cathedral and old town. around 15 mins walk from central train station. nice old building but modern Scandinavian décor. free wifi which is good but breakfast not really worth it - there are plenty places very close by for breakfast. good basr to explore for a couple of days.

Stayed here for 2 nights in December 2013. The hotel is very well located (right next to the cathedral). Staff is very friendly but sometimes takes a while to show up when you ring the bell. Beautifully designed reception area, lobby, bar, and rooms. Rooms are very spacious with high ceilings, and impeccably clean; beds are large and comfy. One... More

Selected the Hotel based on pictures.. we do love its design and location was cool... but! - staff is like nowhere.. anything you need to ask would take 30 minutes as you always need to look for them - design: bathroom looks great but no hot water pressure 45 minutes to fed the tub, then found that it can't keep... Beautiful hotel. 2 old buildings superbly renovated put together. Warm scandinavian design inside. We got the room number 2 situated on the first floor. A very nice room with a high ceiling and large windows opening on to the patio. Plus there were an Ipod/Iphone dock station, great personal care products from the brand Ren as long as bathrobes and... More

We've stayed here twice first time in September 2012, second time in November 2013. Very good experience both times. It is a very well designed hotel with stunning public areas. Both rooms we stayed at were beautifully furnished, really big and the painted ceilings we very high, at least 4+ metres in height. The breakfast was also very good -... More
