Not much to say here. One of the worse places I have stayed in and I had to pay 80 EUR a night! Dust balls rolling all over the floor whenever I walked around and hair on the chairs next to the bed. Bed was kind of comfortable but some strange grey dots on the pillow cases. Room numbers are... More

Hotel centrally located and reception staff very helpful. However, room full of mosquitos and we were bitten severely at night. Bedroom floors not carpeted so noise from neighbouring rooms a problem. Room very spartan, no cupboards or even bedside tables to put book etc on. Bathroom very small and lighting poor. Shower rail fell off after one use. Loose wiring... More

I've had a very pleasant stay at Hotel National in Antwerp. The location is awesome, right in old town and very close to bus and cab station. The rooms and especially the hallways probably need a hand of paint but they're extremely clean and spacious. Overall I had a really good time in the city and would definitely suggest this... More

If you are looking for nothing fancy but great location this is the place to stay! Rooms are pretty basic but funtional. Prices are exceptable to what you get, don't expect any fancy extra's. You are in the city center in walking distance to all the great shopping places in Antwerp (nationaalstraat) and a parking right next door! We did... More

This city centre hotel is perhaps overpriced for the facilities available. No air-conditioning, limited reception facility, restaurant was a combined bar/restaurant/breakfast room. BUT - it is centrally located and has a car park literally next door. Plenty of places to explore so the hotel is really a bed for the night - no more so don't expect any frills or... More

Hotel National is quite acceptable for a short stay in a good location, but it totally lacks personality and charm. I chose it simply as it was reasonably priced and close to my friend's house and central Antwerp. My room was large (by European standards), the bed comfortable and the bathroom small, but the furnishings and decor was very tired.... More

Hotel National is located really good and the reception downstairs has a really nice atmosphere. Staff was very nice too and the breakfast is free and good. The rooms have really thin walls though so we could hear our neighbours very well, aaaargh! Our room was not really clean and was quite timewarp-ish. Would never stay here again.

Good hotel for a short stay because it's very well located, in the center of Antwerp, near the shopping area, the restaurants so no car needed for a city trip kind of stay. Clean rooms and bathrooms .

We booked this hotel because its central location but we didn't expect to sleep above a night club! The room was ok although the radiator wasn't working, the TV wouldn't show any pictures and you don't get any bedside tables. We came back to the National at 22:30 to find that the hotel's restaurant had been transformed into a night... More

Hotel National has character and a style that I enjoyed. The room was big, but basic (no set of drawers), however, it was clean. The bathroom was a little small, and the elevator was a bit creepy. The location is good, everything is in walking distance that you'd want to see. It was a little far to the Rubens House... More
