Located next to the University of Antwerp and walking distance to all downtown locations. Rooms are pretty basic, mine had a terrible odor and no temperature control (too hot in winter). Breakfast was good. Lobby was very basic. Internet at additional cost. more

The hotel is very nice from the outside, with a nice gate and courtyard. However, the inside is pretty run-down and definitely needs major modernizations. All over my room, there were yellowed spots - in the bathrooms, above the sockets... Though the rooms were spacious, they were not very comfortable. In the bathroom, there was no shower curtain for the... more

On the plus side our room was large, clean, the beds were comfortable and we had a very good bathroom. Booked 3 nights stayed 2. This is really no more than a bed and breakfast place. No room service, no coffee or tea making facilities in the room, no safe, no bar, no mini bar, no restaurant. Do not be fooled... more

Never again! Definitely not a 4-star hotel - max. 2 stars! We (my wife and I) wanted to stay in this hotel, chosen in internet due to what we thought is a good rate and proximity to city center. We have lived in Antwerp for couple of years, so we knew city quite well and this hotel looked so nice... more

We arrived to Hotel Prince from Gent where we stayed in a superb 4-star hotel and I can relly tell you this hotel should have 2 stars, not 4. The room was tiny and the bed filled it almost entirely. Everything was old, dirty and it smelled really bad. There's no minibar in the rooms, the shower didn't work properly... more

We picked this hotel because it looked different - a mixture of old Antwerp and modern. The website photos were accurate - the courtyard is charming and I wish we'd been there in the summer! The room was huge and very comfortable - maybe this is because we chose a twin room, as we sneaked a look into some of... more

Very nice hotel, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. We got a huge room on the street side but it was very quiet. The hotel is 16th century but you wouldn't really know this from the decor! Comfortable beds, TV volume fixed so you couldn't irritate your neighbours, what a great idea, why can't all hotels do this? Breakfast was fine,... more

We stayed at the hotel for night after a long day of shopping and eating in Antwerp. The hotel is located very close to the city centre but far away to be very quiet and peaceful at night. It has a terrific entrance and a very friendly and nice staff. The reception area looks very stylish indeed. The rooms are... more

This is a very peaceful and quiet retreat in the centre of old Antwerp. To the back there is a pretty garden area. Ask for a pot of tea and sit there and enjoy it. Staff were charming and efficient. The room was perfectly adequate, clean and spacious. Breakfast was the typically ample Belgian or Dutch spread. Nothing about the... more

A perfectly pleasant 3-night stay, but frankly (like the reviewer below), I fail to see how this hotel has been ranked 4-star. It is quite clearly a 3-star. Despite a contemporary and clean courtyard and reception, our actual room was dated, very plain, and not what one would expect of a 4-star establishment. The sheets and blankets were moth-eaten, there... more
