We stayed for 1 night in the Astoria hotel in June 2009. The hotel is located not too far from the train station. We found the size of the room very spacious, plenty of room for the extra bed. The breakfast was nice it included a large selection. The staff were friendly and helpful. They could improve by having a... more

The Astoria Hotel is a small hotel in the Diamond District of Antwerp. The hotel offers a small, but handy, underground car-park at cost. The staff were freindly, the rooms spacious and clean. The Manager spoke to everyone at breakfast to see if all was okay, and I couldn't find any faults at all with this hotel. There are plenty... more

Apart from the convenient location for business purposes (and a walk around the beautiful park) the service oriented attitude of the whole staff and the management is excellent and even a long stay is still comfortable. As frequent traveller, I can really recommend this place. more

The hotel is approx 5 – 10 minute walk from central station and only 15 minutes from the main central city. However, the city appeared to start a few minutes from the hotel – i.e. plenty of restaurants and shops etc a stone’s throw from the hotel. We walked everywhere in the city and if you consider that my wife... more

Hotel Astoria is nicely located, right off the train station. Not far from the city center and the commercial streets. The rooms are pretty big compare to other hotels in Europe. We were on the 4th and there was a constant humming at night...all night! Don't know if it came from the hotel itseft or from outside. The breakfast area... more

The good: 7 minute walk from the central train station A few minutes from restaurant row Modern and sleek hotel. Breakfast was good. Only hot item were the hard boiled eggs and toaster The bad: 15-20 minutes from center of town. Everything closes early in the vicinity (because its located in the Diamond District). Don't expect ANY nightlife nearby. more

I stayed at the Astoria four nights 2 May - 6 May, 2009. I arrived early after an overnight flight to Brussels and train trip to Antwerp. I expected to check my luggage and return later for the room. But, they had a room available, and I was able to check in right away - a very nice treat! I... more

Dear guest, What can we add more to such a nice comment? If you are happy, we are even more motivated to keep all guests happy! You can find a mosquito killer in every room in the draw. It is a good idea to move the mosquito killers to a visible place in the room to avoid fighting guests with...

We stayed at the hotel in the beginning of May, 2009, our choice based on the reviews from Tripadvisor. And we were not disappointed. The location of the hotel is great - just a couple of minutes from the central station and the main shopping street, but at the same time away from the turbulent and noisy districts, which allows... more

Stayed here 12-15 april during a belgium-trip, and it was chosen from the ratings here at TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed, the hotel is nice, modern and clean with a very friendly staff. The manager was present at breakfast, asking us if we were pleased with our stay, and of course we were. This shows a very good attitude towards... more

As soon as we walked through the front door we had a satisfaction feeling about this hotel. The staff are very friendly, making our party of 4 really welcome. While the men were doing the necessary registration paperwork, the ladies were given a brief rundown on places of interest. This is not a large hotel but of good proportion and... more

Dear guest, We are very happy that you and your friends enjoyed your stay. The bar used to be open years ago but all guests preferred to take a 400 meter walk to the Keyserlei in front of the train station with lots of bars and restaurants. The Grab & Go vending machine and the coffee/tea facilities in the lobby...
