The Astrid is centrally located although not in the historic (old) centre, but close to the Station. The lobby is nicely designed and promising with regard to the rooms. As the hotel is quite large (with many rooms), there is no special feeling when you approach your room. But these are really nice, quite large, good bathrooms, big beds etc.... more

Just back from one night stay in Antwerpen. What a lovely city and Astrid was a great choice. Opposite the beautiful train station and Zoo, diamond shops nearby and just a short stroll to the old town and shopping streets. We got a good deal from hotel´s own website and recommend everyone to go for the bed&breakfast option, you´ll only... more

Stayed here in 2007 and again in June 2009. Pleasant hotel , very clean and comfortable with air conditioning in rooms. Unlike our first visit we had two rooms at the rear of the hotel with interconnecting door. Though no view to talk of this time it had the advantage however of being traffic noise free and therefore a peaceful... more

The central location can't be beat and the front desk responded to every request. The area between the lobby and the elevator for parking is hot and needs some ventilation. The hallways were a bit dark for my taste (female traveler). There was one big thing that prevents me from giving this hotel a higher rating - - - My... more

We spent two nights at the hotel in March in a business room which was quite spacious and functional. We like the Radisson formula which is unfussy, generally very clean with free internet. These were not the most comfortable Radisson beds we have stayed in but we slept OK. Breakfast was in the bright breakfast room overlooking the magnificent station.... more

Hmmmmm.. actually I am not 100% sure what I think of this hotel ..... probably, in itself, not a great thing! I stayed here a few nights ago for one night. I wanted to like the place more than it was letting me. All just fell short of what it 'might' have been. Like an engine that needs all of... more

We booked two rooms for my family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) at 159 euro/night, breakfast included. Check in had a 10 minutes waiting time, but the staff was very friendly. Two connecting rooms,no view, 4 star comfort, nice bathroom with a powerfull shower, LCD TV, reading lamps beside the bed which was large with excellent mattress. Nice swimming pool with... more

Nice rooms, very clean. Tasteful decor. But bathrooms rather ordinary - very basic shower. Not a huge problem but slightly below what I expected compared to what the hotel markets itself as. Excellent location if arriving by train. Bit of a walk - but not unpleasantly far - to the historic centre and waterfront. I would pick it again if... more

I went to Antwerp with my wife and 3 year old son during our three day long easter vacation. The hotel is in a great location to explore the town. The main shopping area is only a 5 minute away. The main trainstation and the Zoo are across the Queen Astrid Square and the Subway station is next to the... more

The Radisson Astrid is a good hotel in a great location in Antwerp, it is easy to get around from there. We stayed in a nice room with view. The roomservice was a bit expensive for what they served, but the rest was okay. I used the gym one morning, but I have to say that the gym needs a... more
