Nice quiet hotel with all necessary amenities. Some minor things need to be improved - the connection on wi-fi is often lost and asks for password every time you restore the connection. Breakfast is fair, but doesn't offer many choices. The foods are good, though. My room didn't have any AC, and I don't know if people feel comfortable there... More

Single rooms may be a bit on the small side (though the bathroom is a good size), but where do you find a hotel these days that still offers single rooms at a REASONABLE rate ? Ideally situated in the city-centre, the room was clean, breakfast was nice (included in the roomrate) and personnel was very friendly - could you... More

This is a nice, clean hotel with very well-behaved and cooperative staff and located at walking distance from the Central Station in Antwerp. It offers a good complementary breakfast and the location is very quiet and nice.

Was here for a two days seminar. Had a very big meeting room, service was excellent, and food and drinks adapted to meeting days. Rooms on the second floor, with a staircase in the room to the bedroom underneath the roof.Excellent room to stay for several days/weeks with a seperate office and seperate seats to look TV or enjoy a... The Elzenveld is a small hotel cum conference center in the center of Antwerp, and it's simply wonderful. Ever since 1996, when a German colleague introduced me there, I have been organizing meetings, workshops, small conferences, ... The staff always has been fully cooperative, and although the facility has turned a bit more commercial in the past 1-2 years than... More

Didn't know what to expect when I saw there was still a very good price deal at this hotel left, but it's a very nice hotel, very clean, good beds, nice modern bathroom and very good central Antwerp location! Even though in the city centre, it's very quiet.

We spent two enjoyable nights in this historic building. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable, and the hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. An easy walk to the Cathedral and the historical centre of Antwerp; and the shopping streets were very near. Taxi from the Railway Station cost us €8, but that was much easier than getting public transport... More

Nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean....but oh my giddy aunt LEARN HOW YOUR FIRE ALARM WORKS and also seriously get some procedures in place for dealing with fire evacuation - a few posters on the back of hotel doors clearly does nothing! The alarm first launched into life just before midnight. Hardly any of the guests actually bothered to... More

I stayed here for four days and found it a bit of a mixed bag. The location is exellent for access to the old city, restaurants and chocolate shops! The staff are very friendly and helpful, sorting out problems with the minimum of fuss. The room was big and modern enough with a flat screen television, but no information as... More

The building is amazing. A restored 11th Century monastery with courtyards, old church buildings. Like a museum. It’s been converted into a hotel conference center and the lobby area is very modernized but the place is still extremely charming. The room was recently renovated and spotless, very comfortable, quiet, large flat screen TV, free wi-fi, water bubbler in the hall.... More
