We stayed for two nights at Staten and chose it mainly because of location. Staten is a typical small European hotel with creaky floorboards and rooms with character. But it is much better than most in that it is well maintained and comfortable. Our room was generous size and was in the corner so had lots of windows. An unbelievably... more

I was in Holland for a week attending a very important business Convention. I must say that it was a very pleasant and relaxing week. The owners were exceptionally friendly, my room which was a corner one had a lovely view and most importantly was very clean. Warm welcome from the couple who run the business. Despite a very narrow stairs (typicall dutch stairs??) the room and bathroom are super clean and have nice feeling about it. Good selection for breakfast. more
