Hotel Staten is about 12 minute's walk to the World Forum Congress Centre where I was attending a conference, very close to shops and restaurants and not far from tram and bus stops. I stayed in this hotel for three nights. The neighbourhood is great. You can eat well and there's a bookshop and other coffee shops and gift places. The owners are helpful. Everything is clean, if a bit cramped. I had a nice conversation with fellow guests in the breakfast room. If I go back, I'll definitely stay there again.

Nice simple and cozy hotel in the City. You can park your car for free. Small rooms for a small price. A simple mom and dad Hotel, friendly cozy and relaxing hotel. The breakfast is simple but complete in a buffet style. If you are looking for a Hotel with a personal touch.

This is a cosy and friendly establishment situated 4 or 5 km north-west from The Hague Central Station, easily reached by tram or bus. I found this hotel online from the Brussels train station after I found out there would be a train strike the next day and I wouldn't be able to leave the country to get to an important conference in Leiden, Netherlands. Don't expect modern, glass and chrome, pool and lobby because this a normal European middle-of-the-road hotel without those kinds of amenities that suited our needs very well. Clean, well-located with friendly hosts. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Steep stairs so guests must be mobile.

I've stayed here 2 times and both times for just one night. It's a pretty decent hotel though a bit outdated. The owners are lovely though and their great humor and the service make up for the slightly corny interior. Rooms are quite spacious though having to walk the stairs was a bit crappy since I'm not that mobile.

The owners of this hotel make you feel welcome and comfortable immediately. They are a genuinely friendly and helpful couple.
