Located on the no. 17 tram from Den Haag Centraal - you get a taste of the heart of the city on the way to the hotel, as the tram travels down semi-pedestrianised streets. Fairly small hotel with large rooms and bathrooms. Nice modern bar with food, but close to local bars and restaurants as well as the city centre.... more

I stayed at this hotel on business for 3 nights. When i arrived i was sent to the wrong room, and then the sliding mirror wardrobe doors fell off their sliders. The safe door was open, with batteries scattered on the floor, and not working. When i asked to use an ironing board and iron, i was given an iron... more

I stayed at this hotel a few times already, usually when I could not find a better alternatives. This time, I was given a room on the ground floor, facing directly the car park, which made it quite noisy because of the cars. I also neede to close my curtain at all times for privacy. But at least I did... more

Not the friendliest welcome on arrival. Room smelled like smoke (my own fault I guess - should have requested non-smoking room). VERY stained/ dirty carpets, mouldy shower/ bath, pretty poo caked up at the bottom of the toilet!!! No airconditioning. Large room with large bed - but desperately needs replacing!!! sides are caving in - struggled to sleep, trying not... more

This hotel was a bit farther from central locations, but an easy tram ride from the central train station, or a taxi ride of about 10-15 euros. The room was larger than I'm used to in European cities. Service and the facilities were good, the room was clean. more

The Hotel is clean and the rooms are nice and modern. The hotel is a bit far from the center though. But nearby there is a stop for the “Straßenbahn” and you can reach the beach of Scheveningen or the city center quite easily. The hotel offers free parking and I had a wonderful stay there! more

Given the rarity of service excellence in commerce, I wish to recognize the Hamphire Greenpark hotel for exceptional service during both of our stays (we got the great rate via [----]). When our housing arrangement fell though from our overseas move for a position at the UN OPCW, the hotel staff made the transition a haven for us. Linda, the... more

Got a great deal through www.hotels.nl, a Dutch discounter which often has specials from the regional Hampshire chain. I thought this little hotel was terrific--from the well-appointedness of their intelligently designed rooms to the reasonably priced bar with wi-fi access, to the absolutely positive, pro-active and friendly nature of all of the front desk staff. To be honest, I haven't... more

We arrived around 5ish to check in, so the bartender was also the reception, she had no information for us on where to go and things to see. She couldn't change our 2 twin beds to a queeen when I specified in my arrangments through expedia a queen or king bed. It all worked out though. The hotel was clean,... more

When it comes down to it, once you achieve a certain level of safety and comfort, most hotels are pretty much the same. What always seems to make the difference is the staff, and I've never found such a helpful and wonderful group. Karin and Bart, in particular, represent the best of Dutch hospitality training (FYI, many staff for the... more
