We chose Hotel Sebel due to the "studio rooms" they offer which come with a kitchenette and found the hotel itself to be pretty good but the rooms not so much. The studio rooms are located in a part of the hotel which has no elevator access and is on the 3rd floor, make sure you check if your room... more

Stayed in a small single room on a business trip. The room was compact and clean. Bed was small but comfortable. Ensuite shower room, compact but modern and clean. Small wardrobe includes a small safe (not big enough for a laptop). Free wireless internet worked well. Flat screen TV with cable channels incl BBC, TVE, TV5 etc. Good value at... more

Hotel Sebel is a quality hotel. The double rooms are a great size for the price. The owners are super friendly. And it's not too far from everything you might want to see without being located directly in the city center. The room and bathroom were clean and modern. Just watch out for the very steep staircase if your room... more

When deciding which Hague hotel to book, I was swayed by the impressive photos on this hotel's website: well let me tell you they have nothing in common with their "small single rooms", even if the price does: even the simplest, ugliest rooms with just a shower are sold at 79 euros per night without breakfast. Specifically, make sure to... more

Very friendly and very helpful staff. The hotel was very clean. A cental location within easy walking distance of the centre. The hotel is an old building but the interior is very modern. There were no signs of any ongoing renovation work, which seemed to be a concern of one of the earlier reviewers, so my guess is that this... more

This is a good hotel for the money, friendly staff, good breakfast, and if you get a newly renovated room its probally hard to beat for that price. Down side is that the websites you book through dont tell you about the pretty extensive renovations, i only stayed for a couple of nights but that was about long enough with... more

This hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes walk from the Hague. We had an enjoyable stay, although parts of the hotel are being renovated at the moment. I expect when this is finished, the standard will be even higher. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. more

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in a quick trip to The Hague to visit some of the UN Tribunals. The hotel was clean, safe and in very good condition. The service was very good, run by a very friendly family. Breakfast (included) was simple but quick, perfect for on-the-go visitors planning to make most out of their... more
