I had the opportunity to stay only for one night at The Sebel along with my wife. Nice, little reception greeted us with warm welcome but more we were fascinated by the big room with huge windows and well chosen furniture. Definitely will stay there again if we visit The Hague again. We wish we had more nights to spend... More

We were given a double room on the top floor. It was spacious, clean and had 5 windows overlooking the lovely square. The views were wonderful, we could see the Peace Palace to the right. There were two tables and two comfortable armchairs to enjoy the views or read a book. Beds were alright, maybe not as hard as we... More

Thank you very much for your review! We are pleased to read that you had a pleasant stay. Following your comment about the ventilation in the bathroom, we checked it, it appeared to be blocked. We have made some adjustments and now it is working fine again. Thanks again and we hope to welcome you again sometime in our hotel. More

We spent 2 noghts at Sebel hotel and it was a very good stay. It is close to the city centre, rooms are clean and service is good. Breakfast is not so plentiful, but it was enough! We had a room on the main street, but it was very silent since the street is quite. In The Hague people usually... More

Beautiful little place! Loved the life in the location with cyclists and scooter riders keeping the place abuzz even late in the evening on a weekday. Staff were very friendly and room was pretty and nice too!

I went with a group so we had several rooms and tons of questions. The staff was very supportive and helpful. Whatever we needed, they were ready to help and happy to do so. My room was comfortable size, but the building is quirky. Other people in my party had one room that was ENORMOUS and another had barely enough... More

I booked for two nights and when I arrived the friendly woman at reception said she had a favour to ask me: Would I mind changing rooms the following day from the single I booked to a double (an up-grade) at no extra cost to me? I said, "fine". The single room on the ground floor was small but comfortable... More

Stayed here for the weekend and had one of the small double rooms (on purpose by the way) on the third floor. The room was very comfortable, the shower was good, it was quiet at night, the breakfast was fine, the staff is friendly. The big plus is the price, a small minus is that it is not the most... More

We had the unfortunate experience of an indefinite weather delay when flying out to Europe/The Hague, so the indescribably nice staff members of this hotel first took last-minute phone calls from our friends delaying our reservation by one day, then canceling our reservation altogether, then reinstating our reservation for one night. Even after that, they were incredibly HELPFUL and just... More

Hotel Sebel is a fantastic option for anyone who is travelling to Den Haag and looking to stay within the city centre without the excessive costs of a chain hotel. Located in the Zeeheldenkwartier, the hotel is only a ten-minute tram ride from the station and sits opposite a circular plaza with some rather artistic fountains and benches. Within the... More
