Just spent 3 days in the Kurhaus Hotel. Majestic building with excellent location right on the beach front with all the handy bars and restaurants. Very comfortable room with all expected facilities and free wi-fi. Great breakfast in the amazing Kurzaal Restaurant, an experience worth having. Comfortable sitting, bar and eating areas overlooking the North Sea. We had one dinner... More

Enjoyed the hotel. Centrally located and close to restaurants. You can easily walk to all kinds of restaurants from there. The rooms are nice and the wi-fi works well. Breakfast is good. Only drawback is that you have to pay for parking. Otherwise no complaints.

Our room had a view of the North Sea, but also the bass sounds from a disco located at the base of the hotel on the boardwalk. The staff was vary friendly and efficient, the beds comfortable but the wifi was poor and slow. Dinner, wine and service were all very good in the restaurant. Great breakfast - almost worth... More

Stayed here (sadly) for just one night for a conference, arriving very early in the morning. Not a problem, the room was ready, allowing me to shower, change relax and do some work during the day. Room was very well appointed, great bathroom, and the hotel itself is in great condition. Valet parking outside, which was perfect, and it couldn't... More

I had to wait a few weeks to reflect on my review for this supposedly 5* hotel. The actually experience of staying at the Kurhaus bears little resemblance to the 'values' promoted on the hotel website, and we have now stayed in numerous less prestigious, and cheaper hotels, in The Netherlands that are better and more efficiently managed. I suggest... More

What an amazing building. The façade is impressive and the inside even better. We had booked an executive room which I was surprised to find quite small, it didn't feel like an executive room. We did have a view of the sea but not a great one. Comfortable bed. As part of this deal we had free access to the... More

I don't know, maybe I am turning into a fussy old git? Maybe I have been too spoilt by staying in too many good hotels? Maybe my car breaking down in downtown, dope-infested Amsters blackened my mood for the stay? Maybe my expectations were too high? First and foremost, the Kurhaus is not a five-star hotel. It is, at best,... More

The hotel is located at the perfect spot on Scheveningen. The building is quite glorious and has great views of the beach. The weather was perfect when we visited, which certainly helped. Would definitely revisit, and recommend.

I stayed at the "Kurhaus" for two nights and ran a workshop for the board of directors of a client's company. As a leadership coach and facilitator I virtually "live" in hotels. I wouldn't want to live in this one, even though the small room was nice and the bed was great. This grand hotel's glorious days are obviously long... More

Yeah, me too. Well, we stayed here two nights as a post cruise stay after doing a "Windmills and Tulips" Cruise. Upon arrival it took a bit of a discussion to get the front desk to change our room arrangement from a queen bed to two doubles. After a short discussion the "manager" finally understood I was not unpacking until... More
