This hotel can not be faulted. Beautiful hotel, great facilities, amazing staff, awesome location and a history to explore ... Worth every penny. We stayed for 3 nights in The Hague and could and should have stayed longer ... We will be back and staying at the hotel

It was our last stop before departing back to the States. The Hague is very close to Amsterdam airport, so we spend our last day at The Hague. First, we should give hotel owners full credit for going bold on interior and exterior design. Bold and bright colors outside, in common areas and in the rooms. It is really unusual,... More

When you are in Den Haag, you should stay in the Hotel des Indes. a classic Palace, baroc, red velvet, demped lights , not so practical but you need to go there for the atmosphere. Location is perfect and service is excellent. The coctailmenu is outstanding and the high tea is an experience on itself.

For our two day stay in The Hague the location of Hotel Des Indes has to be a key selling point - around a ten minute walk from the central train station it’s also on a beautiful square and surrounded by lovely streets of restaurants and bars. If you’re looking to explore the centre of the city then it has... More

Dear Steve, How wonderful it is to read your kind and elaborate review. Thank you for your stay and taking the time to post it online. The period you have visited Hotel Des Indes was indeed in a weekend that the city of The Hague had organized multiple events. Hotel has dramatic decor and old world feel, like 1950's. Bed and linens very luxurious but on a loft up a steep staircase. Made late night trips to the loo an adventure. TV very small and windows Loki across narrow streets to neighbors. Breakfast not worth it. Dramatic bathroom and nice tea service.

Dear Clementine, Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay with us. We are sorry to read that your stay has not been as you had expected it to be. Hotel Des Indes is a monumental building and therefore size and layout in rooms differ. We like to see this as the charm of Hotel Des Indes. Please note that... More

Lovely dependable, long established hotel, we felt instantly at ease & had a great stay. It is grand but personal, not at all stuffy or pretentious though you can almost smell the history & visualise the various dignitaries who have crossed the threshold over the years. The greeting was warm, slick, & swift from the wonderful Josien on reception who... More

We celebrated our birthday(s!) spending the afternoon in the pleasant lounge of the hotel. We very much enjoyed the High Tea. Several nice flavours of tea were served, together with a variety of tasty and sweet bites. It was a pleasant way, spemding the afternoon with friends, Soft life piano music contributed to a friendly atmosphere.

This hotel was once a city palace and is next door to the Noordeinde Palace one of the three official palaces of the Dutch royal family. So great location, easy walk to the city center for shopping, touring the museums, and close to many restaurants. Loved the warm colors of the decor of the lobby and sitting areas and the... More

Wonderful small hotel(92 rooms) in a tony neighborhood. Rooms were comfortable and luxurious plus, updated bathrooms. Spa is unorganized...had a reservation then, it was cancelled as I think they have their massuese(s) on a "on call" basis. The massage(s) we finally had were awful...does not translate at all to what their brochure offers...big disconnect. Buffet breakfast is well done. Can't... More
