I think it is interesting that this hotel is rated as a 3* on tripadvisor. While the lobby and outside of the hotel is definitely subpar, the room I stayed in was definitely 4*. As there is heavy renovation work ongoing as a huge new housing complex is built around the Eden Babylon, you'll almost certainly find a scaffolding (with people on it!) right in front of your window - lovely sight for a romantic weekend getaway... Really nice hotel, very close to the Central train station. Nice selection for breakfast. Construction work ongoing, but it did not disturb us, as we were only there in the evening and early morning. Would definately recommend this hotel! more

I have stayed in the Eden Babylon about ten times this year as I often travel to The Hague for business.
