After staying in some very "small hotels" around Holland, we were surprised when we walked into our room here. It was large, modern, and comfortable. It was much more than we expected. We got there before check in, so the owner took our bags, and we went to explore the neighborhood. The bags were in our room when we returned.... More

Spent six nights in Tex 2 Room. Absolutely fabulous! Room was very spacious with everything we needed. It had a terrace off the room where we spent some time with a bottle of wine and nibbles before dinner. The bed was unbelievably comfortable despite us thinking it had a small mattress when we first saw it. We want one of... More

We only stayed one night and I still miss the room! It is on a lovely lively street in Rotterdam with a good selection of bars and restaurants. But the hotel itself is the real draw. We stayed in the Coco room. It was spacious and beautifully decorated. There was everything you could possibly need or want. A fridge with... More

We stayed 2 nights in A Small Hotel in September. The location is excellent being close to shopping, restaurants, local attractions and transport. We stay in one of the "coco" rooms on the third floor. The stairs are steep but easily manageable. The room was excellent, very comfortable and the coco mat bed possibly the most comfortable we have slept... More

This is just a perfect spot to stay in Rotterdam. The house where the six rooms are is just fantastic with high ceilings and the best hotel beds ever. The street is very lively, esp. at night. The most important museums of Rotterdam are just around the corner. And public transport is also very very nearby.

Very nicely decorated but no hotel services to speak of, including a round-the-clock reception desk. No elavator so you need to walk up one, two or three flights of stairs to get to or from your room. If on business this may be inappropriate since there is no "real" desk that is convenient to work on. I found Coco One... More

Thank you for your respons, we are sorry that we could not give you the facilities needed. All rooms have their own atmosphere. Coco one is , as you said, a darker, more romantic room. Sometimes appreciated by customers, others like more the big windows in the Tex and Zen room, or even the privat terrace of Zen two. Hope,... More

Stayed here in August 2012, with a group of friends (6 in 3 rooms) on a lads weekend. Rooms were clean and modern with ipod connection and a decent music system. The area (witte de witt strasse) was not noisy and there were plenty of bars and cafe's nearby. Restaurants were a bit of a walk but this was ok.... More

We have stayed at this hotel twice and stayed in the Tex Two room each time as this room has a roof terrace. The hotel is more like studios with check in at an office in the building next door. Its situated on a street with quite a few restaurants and bars. There is also a coffee shop around the... More
