I chose the Hilton Rotterdam as it was close to the railway station and I was prepared to pay a little extra for my first night of a long trip coming off a long-haul flight from New Zealand. The room and service by staff was fine, nothing really to be faulted. However I was dumbfounded by the 22 euros they... more

After a horrific night at the Grand Hotel Central, we booked a night here via Expedia at a very reasonable £64 B&B for two people. The Hilton is centrally located in Rotterdam with a tram and metro stop adjacent, and provides a standard of service which makes this place a great choice. We had a room on one of the... more

I stayed in this hotel for a week during the late winter time. Though they called themselves as 4 star for some reason I thought it deserves to be 5 star. :) Great staff, great location right in the middle of the city close to many important places, nice and comfy rooms plus a good spread for meals. It was... more

The posted reviews for this hotel get it pretty right in my experience. The hotel is very well located, which is one of its strongest points. I found check in and other staff very friendly and efficient; which is always a great asset. My room was comfortable - however it felt a little as though they had started a renovation... more

I took advantage of the great spring offer at this hotel, room plus breakfast for two at only 89 euros. Considering that, excellent value for the money, but I would not pay full fare for this hotel. Room was bland, furniture very simple, plain white walls, comfortable bed though. Bathroom o.k. but with very simple fixtures. All in all not... more

After reading the reviews here I was not expecting anything special so I was surprised I what a good value for money this was. People talk about how outdated the decor was and I can't way I noticed. The lobby and rooms seemed just fine to me. The one thing that surprised me was that I was upgraded but I... more

Stayed for a week. Location was good. Approximately 5 mins walk to the centraal station. No car park in the hotel but there is a public car park next to the hotel. Parking cost €27 per night. Rooms, reception area and restaurant were very dated and old. Very expensive hotel for what it was. more

Well, it is true that this is an old building and that the interior design is not very modern. However, the customer service and the restaurant are just fabulous! The hotel employees are very well trained and not just polite and attentive, they really know what they are doing. I stayed there for 8 nights. Once the air conditioning plug... more

I thought some of the comments regarding the Hilton Rotterdam were a little tough. I am a Gold VIP member and stayed in an upgraded room (308) on the executive lounge floor. The room was updated to 2000s decor. I can see how some people thought the lobby and halls were not exactly 2000s, but this did not bother me.... more

I have lived in Rotterdam for many years and have always seen the Hilton building is a post WWII architecture (some love it, some hate it). Staying at the hotel for the first time, it was almost a similar experience inside as looking at the hotel from the outside. The lobby and reception are nice, modern and up to standards... more
