I stayed in single room and traveling with a colleague. We had a 8am meeting and we where provided with a cold breakfast the night before in a bag to eat in the room. Not a great appetising experience. Room is big enough but charge for drinking water and has it should call itself a hostel instead but the worst... More

Something very different, which is great. Welcoming foyer with lots of turkish lights and wonderful carpets on the walls. Room was interesting! The bed had a canopy and there were huge cushions on the floor, but everything was on the floor - the mattress was built into the floor, so while it looked great, if you're not so agile it's... More

We have been to the restaurant many times and thought it was worth trying the hotel. Glad we did. It's a great location and the food at breakfast is up to the standard of the main menu. So, on the downside, it is noisy in the street rooms and the amenities are more hostel than hotel as others have said... More

This ho(s)tel has been booked for us by the organizers of an exhibitions in Rotterdam, and we were really looking forward to it after reading all the positive reviews. We stayed for two nights, and my feelings about the place are very mixed. For sure, there is a certain charm in the shabby oriental decorations of the corridors and rooms.... More

Bautiful place to slepp, with really nice rooms and furnitures. The arab restaurant is simply great. It was a big surprise to find such a special place. It is located in a good position. Maybe you might dislike it at the first impression but go in and check teh rooms and floors.

The hotel is located in one of the most interesting area of Rotterdam, my room was a bit aged but in the mean time very funny, a lot of unusual staffs have been used to make it more comfortable. The hotel is located in an old building which would probably need a review...but the small defect are covered by the... More

A friendly, creative hotel. As mentioned in other reviews, each room is decorated differently, in either Middle Eastern, African or South American style. Rooms vary considerably in size so make sure to check which one you pick. The lacking door to toilet and shower makes this less suitable for traveling with someone you don't know very well. The breakfast is... More

Stayed at Bazar for two nights during a business stay. Centrally placed in a cool area of town. Big bed on the floor, no door to the bathroom, and a giant shower/tub. A fun hotel out of the ordinary. Good food and perfect for grabbing a drink in Witte de Withstraat.
