We stayed here with friends who travelled with their baby, and what a pleasant experience is was! The hotel is very centrally located in the old part of town, close to the square and just 1km walk from the train station. The breakfast is wonderful, and the staff/owner was really helpful with anything we needed, from extra towels after we... More

The bicycle touring company we booked with booked us here. This is a very small hotel- we stayed down the hall from the receptionist's desk, the room was barely big enough for the 2 double beds pushed together. The shower and toilet shared a room and then the sink was in a closet in the main room...sort of odd, but... More

I moved to this hotel after a really bad experience at a local B and B and stayed for 5 nights. I originally had booked for four nights but after the B and B said they made a mistake on availability I walked over to the hotel where Erwin was nothing but helpful and booked me for a fifth night.... Its an historic hotel,it was renovated in1999, its a landmark. But they unfortunately don't maintain the landmark status, its time for a serious renovation, it could be charming but its tacky, 2nd floor has a skylight that couldn't be closed so the light comes in the early morning, staff was satisfactory, we asked for restaurant suggestions, we were given a... This was an average hotel in every respect. Room was average, with an intresting history of the hotel. Breakfast was okay and abutted onto a pretty courtyard.. It is well located for a wander around this pretty little town. Manager was very friendly. but compared to some of the other hotels that we stayed in during our trip this one... More

This is a nicely renovated hotel in the old town with tasteful quiet rooms. They have a parking area where they also stored our bikes in a shed. The wifi works in rooms. The breakfast is very good and served in a cozy room.

The room is so small for 2 people that we are tripping over everything. I don't know if you can do better but you should really exhaust your possibilities before you stay here. Basin not attached to the tiny bath room is also a negative.

This hotel was suggested by Tulip Cycling, from whom we had rented bikes for a brief tour. We found the staff very friendly, the bicycle storage arrangement entirely satisfactory, the room to be modest but quite comfortable, and the breakfast to be good. It's an older building, which adds charm (and low ceilings and steep stairs). Because the stairs are... More

We stayed one night in this hotel in Gouda while on a cycling tour of the Netherlands. Ceilings were low in our top-floor room, but the beds were comfortable, there was a toilet and shower in the room, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly. Bike parking was across the street and was secured. It was an... More

Stayed here for just one night on our way to northern Holland - a group of 5 adults including my father (86yrs). I don't like large hotel chains, preferring to book small independant hotels or B&Bs. Hotel De Utrechtsche Dom was a great location within a stones throw of the market square in Gouda. The hotel is on several floors... More
