My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights as our base for a cycle tour. It's a small hotel, the rooms are small, but the staff are super friendly, willing to do anything to make your stay more pleasant. The rooms are clean. There is free wifi. The breakfast is super yummy, with lots of choices. Yes, the stairs... More

We stayed at Utrechtsche Dom for one night during a 5-day bike trip in the Netherlands. It's pretty basic hotel (although with a long and storied history), but it's charming, nonetheless. We had the suite overlooking the courtyard, which was nice. In addition to being fairly spacious and providing an entryway to lay out luggage separate from the bedroom area,... More

Stayed here for a night and the location in Gouda is super, just a minutes walk to the centre and all the cafés/restaurants. The suite is quite dark but is spacious and has a view of the internal courtyard. Very comfortable bed and decent size bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If you have bicycles you can store them... More

I stayed here for one night, location wise ideal for station and tow centre quite nice as old building but not lift and not great for elderly or those who struggle to walk. The room was nice with a very comfortable bed but felt very dates and old fashioned, breakfast was dissapointing too, very limited choice and very much help... More

The hotel is small and a little dated but perfectly adequate and good value for money. Our twin room was a fair size, simply but adequately furnished with its own washbasin. We had the use of shared bathroom facilities almost next door to our room, but as we never saw the other users it was almost the same as having... More

If you don't mind a small (tastefully nautical themed) room it'll be a great experience. The staff were very helpful in providing assistance and advice, and we happily chatted with them on and off. The small and functional rooms are augmented by large open areas downstairs which were quiet and comfy, plus cheap drinks are available both there and in... More

We stayed here with friends who travelled with their baby, and what a pleasant experience is was! The hotel is very centrally located in the old part of town, close to the square and just 1km walk from the train station. The breakfast is wonderful, and the staff/owner was really helpful with anything we needed, from extra towels after we... More

The bicycle touring company we booked with booked us here. This is a very small hotel- we stayed down the hall from the receptionist's desk, the room was barely big enough for the 2 double beds pushed together. The shower and toilet shared a room and then the sink was in a closet in the main room...sort of odd, but... More

I moved to this hotel after a really bad experience at a local B and B and stayed for 5 nights. I originally had booked for four nights but after the B and B said they made a mistake on availability I walked over to the hotel where Erwin was nothing but helpful and booked me for a fifth night.... Its an historic hotel,it was renovated in1999, its a landmark. But they unfortunately don't maintain the landmark status, its time for a serious renovation, it could be charming but its tacky, 2nd floor has a skylight that couldn't be closed so the light comes in the early morning, staff was satisfactory, we asked for restaurant suggestions, we were given a...
