I have been in Delft , Netherlands for over 1.5 years and have been staying in various hotels. One of the best hotels during this time was Hotel De Koophanel. Located in front of the what they call sqaure where there is ice skating and sometimes open shows, this hotel looks small from outside. It doesnot have a lift but... more

Excellent little hotel. Staff were very friendly and offered to help with our luggage since there is no elevator to the upper floors. Hotel was very well kept and clean. Great location, close to the center of town and approximately a 10 min walk from the train station. Wonderful atmosphere. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. more

The room I stayed in was spacious. The high ceiling and large windows let the sun light that went through the trees to come in and make the room brigth. Stayed here 10-14 April for a pre-Easter break. Booked direct with hotel for best price for a Triple Room. The the hotel fronts to Beestenmarkt, which is a quaint square with many places to eat or drink, and it is a moments walk from the main Market square. Very well located hotel in the centre of Delft. On square named Beestenmarkt. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast, rooms very clean. Special deal for parking. more

Stayed at this hotel in the middle of August. Recommended to me by a resident of Delft. Room was a good size compared to other hotel rooms in Europe. One down side - no elevator. You must carry your luggage up the stairs... phew. Service was good, staff friendly. Hotel is in a good location. Breakfast is good. Many choices... more

Stayed at this hotel for one night in August 2005. Price included breakfast. Breakfast was good. Nice little hotel in a great location. Service is good, room a reasonable size. No elevator. Overall I would stay here again. more

The Koophandel is located on the edge of the Beesten market very close the town square. It's difficult to find by car, but your taxi driver will have satnav to help him. A strange variety of large rooms, probably good for families. Beesten market square has cafe tables in summer and an ice-rink in winter. Excellent central location for exploring... more
