I have 4 requirements for a hotel: (1) - Quiet: I had room 14 at the back of the hotel away from any streets - perfect (2) - A Good Shower in the morning: big tick (3) - A Good Breakfast: Again, big tick - lovely coffee, eggs, juice, cereal, meats and cheese (4) - Free WiFi: There were problems... We booked the Johannes Vermeer Hotel for a long weekend stay in this beautiful Duch city. The hotel is located in the city centre in walking distance of the Market Square, New Church, City Hall and shopping district. We walked down to the University district where I attended the University of Technology in the 1990's. The hotel is cozy and... More

Many Dutch will quietly admit that Delft is one of the best cities in the Netherlands which makes the Johannes Vermeer arguable the best hotel in Delft. We have been travelling to Holland for 15 years and have never found a better priced or more comfortable and friendly home for our annual business trips. It really is a home away... More

The hotel is very nice. It is in the centre of delft, at walking distance from the train station and the university, just behind the Market place. The hotel is in very Dutch fashion and Personnel is kind and speak good English. I stayed in mansard with a nice skylight from which I could see the main church. The room... More

Great place for short staying if you visit Netherlands not only for Amsterdam. Delft is really good and impressive town close to Hague and Rotterdam, even Amsterdam too. This hotel is located in building of 16-17 century with appropriate interier. Our room was under the roof without big windows, actually it has only roof windows) but it made our accomodation... My husband and I have just spent a couple of nights here and very much enjoyed our stay. Incredibly friendly welcome and all of the staff were friendly and polite throughout our stay. Although this hotel could not be described as modern, the decor was interesting and made a pleasant change to the sterile and dull furnishings found in many... More

Delft is a historic city of canal just north of Rotterdam. There are no taxi in the city at all. After arrive at Delf train station, visitor needs to walk with his/her luggage to the hotel through stone pathway, bridges over canals etc. quite challenging. Recommend bring light luggage. This city offers city walk or boat ride which one can... More

This is a charming "must for a visit to Delft. Comfortable rooms, quiet and well built faclity. We stayed in the back of the building but excellent bed, nice bath and elegant hallways gave the wonderful European flavor to the initiation of our trip. BREAKFAST INCLUDED

In an old building with no elevator, this hotel is an interesting combination of updated elegance and old fashioned. The halls and stairs look like you are visiting someone's house, but the bathrooms are updated and posh, with Electric towel warming racks and a large shower stall. Free wifi and flat screen tv make it seem posh. The free breakfast... More

The hotel is located in the center of old town Delft about 2 blocks from the market center and 3-4 blocks from the train station. The room was large with a small table and 2 chairs and a desk with coffee or tea available and in room WiFi. Nice, modern bathroom with a walk in shower. All of it was... More
