I stayed for 2 days at the Beach Hotel. I liked the rooms, their design and their wooden floors, and above all the breakfast, fresh local products, lots of choice. But what shocked me was their cleaning policy. I went for a walk on the beach, it's a beach hotel after all, my floor ended up with small mounds of sand... More

The location is just amazing. There are rental bikes for free to explore the dune landscape. The rooms are small but with good beds and a nice shower. Breakfast is okay but not really special. A big minus is that there is no AC in the room.

We stayed at this hotel several times in 2015 while working in the area. The hotel we usually stayed in was fully booked during several visits so we had to move hotel. Plus points about this hotel - it is quirky. There is something a little strange about it. Maybe it is the attempt at trying to bring the sandy... More

My husband and I stayed at the hotel the first weekend of June. We stayed in room 35, which, while very compact, was well equipped with a view over the dunes and the car park. I didn't mind this and didn't have any noise issues with people coming and going. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great and... More

To have a short break I booked this hotel with a friend. I had been there about ten years ago and was looking forward to the proximity of the sea. The hotel has been renovated since my last visit and it was done nicely. The restaurant was good as I remembered, breakfast offered enough choice for everyones liking. The swimming... More

To be clear from the beginning my feedback on this hotel is based completely on the fact that it is way overpriced for the hotel itself. Yes, it is located immediately behind the dunes with very easy access to the beach but the hotel itself is old. The rooms have been renovated but the walls are very thin and you... More

When punching the data in your "Garmin nüvi" or any other GPS guidance system please take "Galgeweg" instead of Westduin 1 otherwise you will be directed to a big parking spot where zillions of beach goes might park their vehicles but there is no hotel with this addresss. When taking "Galgeweg" you need to look for the dunes, and at... More

You can make, directly from the hotel, lovely walks in the dunes or at the seaside. Vlissingen is a 25 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is nice, the staff very friendly and the room was ok (we had a newer room). The pool and sauna are (to)small and need renovation. We also enjoyed breakfast, we only missed fresh... More

We really liked the hotel, it is very well located (just a very short walk to the beach). Receptionist was nice and helpful, room was nice and had nothing to complain about it. Breakfast was also good, had cold cuts, cheese and even scrambled eggs. I would just remark that the swiping pools in not very big, but it was... More

We have been here a number of times and love the location. It is great for cycling and walking. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. Some of the rooms could do with a refurb but it is the location that makes it for us. Our only complaint was the slow service in the restaurant. The food was good... More
