Hotel Solskin is located at the waterfront in the lovely small seaport of Vlisingen. Right in front of the hotel you can walk along the beautiful, long, seaboulevard. From the hotel the view on the water is great. They do have a good and affordable restaurant with inside and outside siting. The owners are friendly and pleasamt people who do... More

The views from our seafront room and enclosed balcony were glorious. It was a real pleasure to sit on the balcony on an incredibly windy night in November, watching the lights of the passing ships and boats, and listening to the water, without being exposed to the elements. The room was warm, clean and cosy, but - as a very... More

Here for 3 nights in windy late October / early November. Very comfortable room with amenities as described, including enclosed balcony which was a real pleasure. Brilliant location - big ships passing really close to the shore, and miles of beach to be walked right outside the hotel door. Breakfast served until 10am which is always a plus if you... More

This was a great find for a relaxing stay in Vlissingen. The room was large with a table and two leather chairs, and then there was another table and chairs on the enclosed balcony, from which to view the passing ships. We could open the balcony window and have an unimpeded view when we wanted. There was a separate desk... More

good hotel in Vlissingen with an EXCELLENT location. try to get one room with seaview - you will not regret it. also pricewise this hotel is veyr good - as it is more attractive than the bigger hotels in the same location. friendly staff and good service. the breakfast was a bit simple, tough.

As an amateur ship photographer, I am always on the look out for good locations especially with accommodation. This fills the bill precisely as you can sit outside on the promanade and watch all the shipping in the Schelde. The view from my room was fantastic and only slightly let down by the fact you couldn't photgraph from it because... More

Accommodating staff, relaxed atmosphere, great views and location along with excellent food in the restaurant combine to create a great all-round hotel experience here. I was allowed to use the Internet behind the bar as we arrived and the large round tables in the restaurant/reception area enticed me down each morning to read one of the books casually left on...
