Stayed there for one night. Originally booked a land side room but on arrival received a sea side room. Very friendly people. Hotel room was nice and clean. attached to the room was a conservatory so you could enjoy the view "outside" in January.

We booked this penthouse apartment on the strength of previous reviews here about the location. We stayed one night on our way to Centre Parcs at Port Zelande with 3 teenage boys. None of us could get enough of the view- it really was fascinating watching the huge ships pass by so close to the shore during the day and... More

If like our party you are cycling through France and Belgium to Amsterdam, I would strongly suggest factoring in an overnight stop at this Vlissingen Hotel to recharge the batteries. Early booking is recommended as this is on the main North Sea cycle route. Small and beautifully positioned about 2 miles away from the ferry from Breskens. Immaculate bathroom, right... More

Decent size sea view room with a small enclosed balcony looking out to sea. You could watch very big ships sail past very close to the shoreline, it didn't seem that it should be possible. Small area on the ground floor where you can leave bicycles safely if you are touring as we were. The restaurant served us a super... More

Hotel Solskin is located at the waterfront in the lovely small seaport of Vlisingen. Right in front of the hotel you can walk along the beautiful, long, seaboulevard. From the hotel the view on the water is great. They do have a good and affordable restaurant with inside and outside siting. The owners are friendly and pleasamt people who do... More

The views from our seafront room and enclosed balcony were glorious. It was a real pleasure to sit on the balcony on an incredibly windy night in November, watching the lights of the passing ships and boats, and listening to the water, without being exposed to the elements. The room was warm, clean and cosy, but - as a very... More

Here for 3 nights in windy late October / early November. Very comfortable room with amenities as described, including enclosed balcony which was a real pleasure. Brilliant location - big ships passing really close to the shore, and miles of beach to be walked right outside the hotel door. Breakfast served until 10am which is always a plus if you... More

This was a great find for a relaxing stay in Vlissingen. The room was large with a table and two leather chairs, and then there was another table and chairs on the enclosed balcony, from which to view the passing ships. We could open the balcony window and have an unimpeded view when we wanted. There was a separate desk... More

good hotel in Vlissingen with an EXCELLENT location. try to get one room with seaview - you will not regret it. also pricewise this hotel is veyr good - as it is more attractive than the bigger hotels in the same location. friendly staff and good service. the breakfast was a bit simple, tough.
