This beautiful hotel is simply the most elegant I ever seen in Zeeland. Located in the harbour, just in front of the water, it´s just a few steps from the market place. The hotel was an ancient fortress so you feel like you live in a castle ! The room was lovely, decorated with refinement. Bedding was very comfortable and... More

This was our 2nd time at the Toren, and was just as good as the previous time. Veere is a very special place, full of history (with Scottish connections too), and has beautifully preserved architectural gems. The village exudes peace and relaxation, and the Hotel is very laid back and welcoming. We had a main room last time (room 1)... More

you really may call this a romantic hotel, beautiful location with nice views, very intimate restaurant,in general good service but..the dinner was a bit disappointing and on detaiils the service could be better.Bed could be better, you don't expect 2 matrasses which drift apart in a romantic hotel..

After a visit nearly 25 years ago, I had a chance to visit Veere again with my wife and two college aged sons. If you have a day or day and half to spare, try to make the trip to Veere, NL. You can check out the town in detail on-line, but in summary its a VERY quaint town directly... More

We really enjoyed our city break in Veere. The hotel was perfect and we were amazed by the large garden of our room (Room 17!) and the relaxing atmosphere of the garden and the room. There was a lot of space in the room, the only downside that you hear the other guest very clearly when they walked down hall... More

I must admit that I love historic hotels but due to frequent trips usually try to save. This time the circumstances allowed to spend a little more and we didn't regret. The reception, restaurant and the main building rooms are located in the medieval tower on the banks of Veerse Meer. And I loved both the interior and exterior. The... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room is in a block away from the main hotel. The room has a nice view and all facilities you need. The stair is extremely steep with small steps, not really suitable for the some guests. The staff were really friendly and polite. We ate at the restaurant on the first night. Food... More

My wife and I decided to go to this old location, because we love to go to castles etc and this hotel is located in an old tower. On arrival the first thing we noticed was that the hotel is not for all, if you book a room in the main building, please note that the stairs are still in... More

This old inn is located in a most beautiful setting overlooking the Veerse Meer. We stayed for 2 nights in room no 4. It was a lovely old room with all the modern trappings. It was clean and warm. Beware of the stairs though, they are very steep! As in a lot of hotels, the shower door over the bath... More
