Very vriendlief staff but after à night sleep-ins in the room you need an other holiday due to the bad beds and noisy room. On the plus: the hotel is near the centre of Middelburg, but parking you car is costly and difficult

Stayed four nights for a professional conference in town. I was a little leery after reading some other reviews on Tripadvisor, but had a pleasant stay in a single room on the second floor. The hotel is right across the canal from the train station and about 5 minutes' walk to the town center. I arrived early in the day... More

The hotel is old, but is located opposite the railway station which is very convenient. the breakfast was very good, served in a nice hall. I would advise to renew the carpet of the hotel and do some renovations.

Perhaps if there were no other guests on your floor, below or above you, you'd sleep beautifully. However, as this was not the case, I did not. The girls next door to me having a laugh at 2am sounded like they were standing at the end of my bed. You can hear every movement in the hallway/doors, and as pets... More

Very dirty! Will never be here again. We love the Fletchers hotels but this is the worst experience we had. Walls need to be repainted. We are used to other standards in the Fletchers 3 or 4 stars. Really disappointed!

We stopped in Middelburg on a boring Sunday afternoon, just for a coffee and something to drink for the kids. The place was empty, just like the rest of the city actually. Outside the season there is nothing happening, so probably the reason why this place wasn't any different. We had coffee with a warm waffle, the kids had waffles... More

The town was full so we came here! The hotel was very shabby...but clean. Carpets worn, badly needs decoration....very poor lighting in rooms. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Not good value for 110 Euros!! Try somewhere else first!

Excellent position but should have taken more note of other traveller reviews. Whole complex, especially rooms, in dire need of update. Stained carpets in hall ways and bedrooms do not give good impressions. Booked two nights through booking.com, but plans changed and on arrival we were told (very emphatically), we still had to pay for two nights. Check in was... More

I booked this hotel because I've know in since my childhood in the 70's. ALways saw it when we crossed the bridge. Now It was museum weekend in The Netherlands so I decided to show my daughter the area I was born. The communication through direct email was friendlyn, but the pirce was 10 €uro's more expensive than booking via... More

The room is small, but for single occupant the double room was fine. Clean, quiet, had everything you need except a hair dryer! Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast plentiful. Luggage room and bike store available. Bistro downstairs again was a great facility and bar staff there were friendly and helpful . Good value hotel. Great position just opposite... More
