The first time I visited this hotel I wasn't thrilled as it's come into it's years and was even a bit shabby. However during my last visit I learned that they are renovating and the new rooms (not all of them are done yet) are very nice. Unfortunately they smell of wallpaper glue or whatever, but I guess you can't... More

Stayed here for two nights and was given a room in the annex on the third floor. The room was very dated and was very disappointed with the fixtures and fittings. Burn marks from halogen light on the headboard. Stains on the carpet. Patchy and weak wifi. I complained to the duty manager and was informed that the hotel was... More

This is very much a business hotel; it is large, soulless and showing signs of wear. The room was large with a great view from the 19th floor. Aircon system difficult to control. The bathroom was ageing and not that clean. Wifi reception patchy. The breakfast was good but very expensive at €19. I would say thay generally the hotel... More

since 10 yrs my choice for Utrecht; high standard for that price; very friendly helpful & professional crew as usual; this time I appreciate the new free coffee machine at the entrance, very useful for a quick one early in the morning; just noticed kinda weak water pressure, maybe occasional in higher floors; but on the whole, I'm very happy... Good points: convenient when travelling by train. Worm welcome. Bad points: the lobby is not all welcoming, the corridors smell like chlorine and need good cleaning, the executive room had an entrance door damaged, the walls and the ceiling were really dirty, the air conditioning system was probably more than 20 years old, the bathroom's sink was almost unfonctiomal. The... More

I have had a room on 17 floor. Big and clean windows with great view - something that I like the most. Also great location -- near central train station, courteous staff and clean rooms - all that, in combination with moderate price - describe great hotel. I will definitely stay here again

I choose this NH for its proximity to the train station. I stayed there for just one night and that was enough. Rooms are fairly old and need urgent renovation. All looks pretty run down. The view for the upper floors is nice. Windows can't be open and you have to live with a fairly noisy air condition. Quality of... More

We decided on a last-minute trip to Amsterdam from Germany over Easter weekend. To no surprise, hotels within Amsterdam were mostly booked and/or too expensive. I found this hotel through booking.com and booked immediately. It was about 20-25 minutes outside Amsterdam and perfect for our stay. Our family of 5 were in 2 rooms, sadly not on the same floor,... Lets start with the positive. Everything beside the room! Negative. - The room (and the hall leading to it). Simply put the rooms are badly needed to be modernize. The atmosphere, appliances (except the TV), smell, feels like 20+ years old. - Pay extra to have a normal wifi speed. I truly believe this kind of service doesn't belong to... More

The hotel was thoughtfully recommended by our friend. The hotel is conveniently close to the Utrecht Station and to the city center. Very easy to get to other cities in the Netherlands. We stayed on the 16th floor and the room comes with a view of the station and city. The room is spacious and has all the necessities.
