Reasonably priced basic 3-star room. Very pricey internet access. No breakfast. Free of charge parking. Quiet area, walking distance from the city center (15 minutes on foot). Utrecht is beautiful and this is good place to get to know it, and I also recommend it even for visits to Amsterdam - it's 20 mins away by train but it's much... more

Smallish standard IBIS Hotel approx 15 mins walk from Town centre and Railway Station. Clean and efficient, and pretty good value at EU 89 per night compared to most other options in Utrecht (NH at EU150 etc). I am actually getting to like the no-frills common-sense good value approach of the IBIS hotels. Bar and restaurant small and reasonably efficient,... more

Staff were unfailingly courteous, but slightly clueless. Two out of three rooms were misallocated despite re-checking that they were twins, not doubles, at the check in desk, so we spent a good 20 minutes playing musical rooms with heavy luggage. Staff at front desk were unable to tell us any source of soft drinks and snacks other than the (overpriced)... more

In credit crunch, and a weak POUND it hurts a lot to stay at the IBIS. 122 Euro a night plus breakfast, on and 'wifi is extra sir' .... thats really annoying. My colleagues pointed out they spend less in the centre of Paris. Room was smallish but I must say the double bed extremely comfortable (2nd night though I... more

I stayed recently at this property. This IBIS is certainly not the newest and could get some freshened-up treatment .... PRO - fairly central, by tram under 10 minutes - good parking facilities - check in and out easy and professional - room clean, bathroom adequate - good bedding - restaurant acceptable if only for a few days, menu extremely... more

I stayed here for three weeks in March for business. The hotel is the usual good Ibis standard, medium sized rooms, consistent, clean and very pleasant. The hotel is 20/30 minutes walking distance from Utrecht city centre, but only a five minute tram ride which is conveniently located just near the round-about 2 minutes from the hotel. Rooms can be... more

Nice Hotel, about half an hours walk from the City Centre. One of the most reasonably priced in Utrecht (which is, generally speaking an expensive place to stay). Rooms a little small, but acceptable. I stayed in Room 302, which has been specially decorated with an aboriginal art theme, very unusual. Food is a bit samey and the "potato garnish"... more

I used to like the hotel and its restaurant, but have since then had to revise my opinion. The hotel has been redecorated, which is fine, but the restaurant, of which we kept a pleasant memory -- our little granddaughter was treated like a princess, and in her own language, too -- has now changed for the worse. Ibis used... more

On first impresions a slightly more upmarket Ibis than many. Located outside the old town with a free car park. I stayed there during the recent heatwave and really suffered from the excessive wamth of the rooms. Worst of all was the restaurant. If it does have aircon it is totally inadequate. The meal I had was so so. But... more
