3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed there for 3 nights with my mother and sister in a three person room. The hotel itself is located perfectly in the city center of Utrecht, meaning that one has walking distance to almost everything. The hotel seemed a bit old and run down. However clean, but not really the standard expected from a 4 star hotel. Breakfast buffet... More

The Apollo Hotel is nicely located in Utrecht. Service at the reception is mostly good. My room was fine without being extraordinary. Breakfast is fine. There is a lounge for guests - which is a nice option. Still, I probably would not choose the place again since there is no free wifi in the room. There is free wifi in... More

We spent one night on 26 Feb 2015 in a triple room (Room#811, I think). You would kind of think that 811 is on the 8th floor, but it's not. From the reception, we had to go one level down by a lift and walk a long corridor, and take another lift 2 levels up. Quite confusing but the only... More

A decent hotel and very central. Stayed here whilst attending an event in the Jaarbeurs which is a short walk from the hotel. Plenty of shops and restaurants around the area. Didn't use the wifi as it was not free and did not make use of breakfast or recreation areas in hotel so cannot comment. Room was a decent size... More

Whenever I am in Utrecht I am staying in the Apollo Hotel. It is extremely easy to reach (walking distance from the Utrecht Centraal train station), with many restaurants around. The staff is very friendly. The hotel itself could use some remodelling (e.g. carpets have spots, and the remote control of the TV is aweful). But I will definitely stay... More

Great location, nice rooms and very helpful staff. I had a few issues with setting up the TV which were resolved quickly. The internet set up is confusing as you have to order it through the TV which then lists different information to that provided at reception. So instructions could be made clearer. Something that didn't bother me but could... More

Stayed here for two nights while attending a conference. I had a room on the 5th floor, large, stylish, comfortable and clean, with desk space and an adjustable radiator which kept the room pleasantly warm (appreciated since it was icy outside at this time of year). The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom had a power shower, hair dryer,... More

I was staying in the hotel for 2 nights while being on a business trip. Very nice hotel, just near the central station, in the sity centre with a wide pedestrian area around. A room was very big and essential - no more no less. Clean room and bathroom. The wifi is not fo free (and I personally do not... More

Only budget hotels are asking for extra money for wifi. What is it? Dont recommend this hotel. Look for other option. The room is not so bad, the breakfast neither. But the impression of all is bad due to paid wifi in the room. So you have to go to sit on reception or go to 9th floor. It is... More

The hotel has a very good location, just some meters from the main restaurants of the city and the train station, with a good price too, but the wifi is very expensive (€7,50) and if your entire family wants to use it, you have to pay €2,50 more for each device. Breakfast is very good, but also very expensive.
