Have stayed here a couple of nights in december 2011 (just one night per week). I had to be in Amersfoort Schothorst for business 3 times in 3 weeks. The hotel is on a businesspark and about a 20 to 25 min. walk from the trainstation Amersfoort-Schothorst. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The rooms are a normal size for... More

As usual the Campanile hotel is miles from the centre. The taxi driver said it was a 3 minute journey ... 15 minutes later we arrived! But the staff are super & it's comfortable. There's also a restaurant with a good selection of quality food, so enjoy!

Dear fellow travelers, I would like to recommend the Campanile Hotel - Amersfoort as the hotel to stay away from. In my more than 20 years of hotel management career I did not find a hotel worse managed and as dirty as the one named. Due to the limited time I have for writing a detailed report - In brief... Positives: Friendly very staff, bar area, comfortable bed, clean, easy access from motorway, parking, breakfast Negatives: Situated on an industrial estate, next to highway, rooms are small, TV's old, corridors were unheated, (so was my room when I first got in) probably in need of a bit of renovation. My Top Tip: Look at the leaflet on your bed as... More

We stayed at the Campanile Amersfoort for 2 nights over the New Year, on a coach holiday. The room was basic but OK, on arrival the room was freezing, we turned the radiator on and the room soon warmed up. The bed was really comfortable and we slept really well. The tea/coffee making facilities are OK but don't expect much,... More

1st time in Netherlands,it was very easy to find the hotel. During my staying a continuous bus strike occured. The hotel was located 6km east from Amersfoort's centre &i had only the choice of taking a taxi to move around (17€ for 5-6km are't they too much??In Athens we pay 5€ for a 6km distance). I had the best sleep there,except... More

We arrived en route for Germany and wanted something close to the motorway. UYou don't expect too much of this chain bit like IK Travelodge although even worse. The Campanile was clean , bed hard. Food nearly absent but staff did their best, it was almost empty, perhaps the other guests had given up after the longest check in marathon... More

My parents stayed at the Campanile Amersfoort back in September when they were in town for my cousins birthday. They then decided to go back to Holland for my Dad's birthday this April. Because they enjoyed the Campanile Amersfoort back in September, they wanted to try it again. This was my first stay at the Campanile Amersfoort. I read the... More

This hotel is next to a highway (A1), so there is some noice in the rooms. The bathrooms needs refurbishment, quickly! They are old and dirty. The rest of the room is for this hotelclass not bad. The restaurant (dinner) is quit good and not expensive. But do not go there for the great athmosphere.

Basic hotel in the middle of nowhere. Rooms were not terribly quiet. Restaurant does not seem to be big enough when the hotel is full. Breakfast choice is very limited. Reasonably priced, but for a little more there is much better choice.
