Looking for a peaceful and romantic getaway? This is the place to be! We come from Slovenia and we often visit Amersfoort, and somehow we always return to this hotel. It is not just because of the gorgeous surroundings, extremely nice and polite staff, very nice rooms etc..., but because of the highly positive vibe that this place offers. You... More

The hotel was renamed from Golden Tulip to Princess and had good opening offers. Unfortunately, the only thing that changed was the sign on the hotel. All documentation inside was still about Golden Tulip. Also, despite what was mentioned on the website, there was no WiFi. When I asked at reception they said that only a few places had WiFi... More

We had a couple of nights here as part of a coach trip. Excellent food, good selection of beers and wine with bottled beer from the local microbrewery. Service by all was friendly and professional and the room was spacious, light and airy. Location next to the woods is quiet though remote. The 19 town service bus runs every 20... More

Have been several times in the hotel: running some trainings in the joint training facility Over the several stays my perspective someway changed from bad to someway ok. Biggest disadvantage: not in town but somewhere in the woods. Great bar (good wine and beer selection) and good service. Restaurant improved over time, but breakfast remains weak point. Rooms are ok,... More

It's worth getting a train from airport to central train station, taxi from there to hotel is around €15 so better value and convenience for groups of 3 or more. Breakfast buffet was good and evening meal buffet was good value however there was the same section on both evenings. Room was new, clean and comfortable, was looking forward to... More

Easy, no-nonsense hotel in tree filled country. Good for overnight stays. If you want things like coffee facilities, you will need the more expensive rooms. We found it friendly and clean, with parking in the grounds.
