An old prison succesfully turned into a deluxe hotel. Trendy, comfortable, chic but NOT old fashioned. Lovely terrace. Very warm, unconventional welcome by hotel staff very much appreciated. Room was perfect, quiet, cosy, hi-tech equipment, amazing bed and shower.. The hotel's restaurant is another treat; nice atmosphere, good food, you're really taken good care of. This 5 star hotel is located in an old prison from 1739. It is the extension of the 3 michelin star restaurant De Librije in Zwolle. The hotel opened in may this year. It has a beatifull character and the service is wonderful. The character of the old prison is still visible but the achitect made is such a nice... more

Wow - what a treat to stay here. Welcome champagne with amuses at the terrace offered by the butler. The room was impeccable and very charming. Many nice and surprising details, absolutely not a standard hotel but a very deluxe homely atmosphere. Good airco and very good beds.
