This smallish family-run hotel has a four-star rating. I would not call that undeserved but don't expect a host of facilities as you might find in a large international chain-hotel. Hotel De Harmonie is a great place, that located at beautiful Giethoorn with all the canals around you. The service of the staff is amazing and all of them are very kind. What a pleasant little spot! Comfortable rooms, modern bathrooms with large soaking tub, terrace rooms that look over a pastoral canal. Been here with my wife for a weekend. The hotel is locaded right in from of a bus station, so it's very easy to reach it even without a car. Much better than De Dames hotel.. the restaurant is really good and hotel owner is very caring and ready to modify the food to suit your taste, the hotel rooms are generally small so go for highest category. The husband of hotel owner took us out for a boat ride on unusual routes in the night which was really good

Giethoorn has seen a lot of tourists and hotels here are quite full because there is a lack of them.
