We booked this budget hotel as it was within walking distance of a party that we were attending. IJmuiden is unfortunately not a very pretty town and this hotel does not look very distinguished from the outside. However, our room was a perfectly reasonable size and in good decorative order. WIFI is free and worked well enough to be able... More

I visited this hotel at the weekend with my wife and child as we were attending a Judo event in the city. The hotel is rather difficult to find, so a good stannic is essential. The one in my wife's car was dreadful in getting us from Calais to Amsterdam, but once we were near it was of great assistance,... More

A very charming little hotel I was there 10 years ago and nothing has changed, except the WiFi and the size of the TV in tue room. The owner is very nice as well My company uses this hotel bery often I recommend it for only.a couple of nights as the town itself is a bit boring

This hotel is in a quiet village not far from the seas. We stayed here whilst visiting friends nearby so did not need a restaurant in the area. The room was a family room, which was clean and adequate for our needs. As it is a small hotel the rooms are not large but the welcome by the owner and... More

Great room, great breakfast, useful snack machine with good prices, short walk to shopping. The hotel seemed overly eager to convince us to eat supper in their restaurant, but we preferred to eat fast food as we were going to spend the next 10 nights eating in a cruise ship dining room. When we broke the news that we did... More

Stayed here for one night. Handy for the boat to Amsterdam. Nice room, could have been better with thicker curtains and a better tv. I found I was awake a lot in the night because it was bright. The beds were not super comfortable. Seemed a bit lumpy and soft. Friendly staff and good basic breakfast which was included.

We wanted a clean, respectable B and B out of Amsterdam(which we found too noisy and crowded, not to say dangerous with all the traffic), handy for the Newcastle ferry and not too expensive. This hotel is just that. Decent room, good sized bathroom, clean, very adequate breakfast. Lift and free parking outside. Easy and relatively cheap access on fast... More

We stayed here for the weekend of my husbands birthday.Once you have got up the steep staircase, the staff (and cat )are friendly rooms large and clean (although nothing special) breakfast was good and the location of the hotel (a short walk to the meuseums and a walk -if a long one-into town)was great.A few thing I would say-I would...
