Aloha, this is our second trip back to L' Anders, we enjoy everything about this place. The staff makes you feel like family and are always smiling and happy. The breakfast is excellent, the service is always good. The location is great, not a far walk from anything. On our first visit there were no curtains in the bathroom or... More

Great stay. In the middle of the center. Close to good restaurants and nice night life. We had the room with this little sectional sofa, it was so cute and the view from your window and the center squares. It felt like your own little apartment. Staff is super friendly and very helpful.

We spent one night in Haarlem and felt fortunate to have spent in at L’Anders. We had a very large room on the 1st floor (2nd floor American) which had a great view of the Grote Markt. Kermis, a large fair, took place on the Markt during our stay. Xiadong was nice to have informed us in advance of our... More

I stayed here in November on a Sunday and Monday night. Had a wonderful view from my room over the market square which i didn't find too noisy. Really liked my room too. Small but clean bathroom. Had arranged for an earlier breakfast which they were happy to arrange. Great helpful owners. The stairs were very steep which would not... More

First of all, this is a B&B and not a luxury hotel. So why the rating "Excellent"? There's also ratings naming the steep steps. Well, if you're aware of the steep steps up to the rooms, and you also find the fridges where you can serve yourself tea or coffee, soft drinks or wine whenever you feel like it, and... More

I stayed here for two nights: Sunday and Monday. The stairs are very steep but my luggage was carried to the room for me. I would not recommend this for people with mobility difficulties or who are very elderly. Unless they are very fit. My room overlooked the market place which I loved and I had no problems with noise.... More

Our clean and spacious room overlooked Grote Markt which was such a fabulous location - just loved sitting by the window and watching the action go by. Indeed, there is noise from outdoor tables below and Saturday with the market set up and take down, but that is the absolute charm of this spot - put in your earplugs (provided... More

Having read TA reviews, we were aware that the very large front bedroom looked out over the square and hence could be noisy on market days (Sunday & Monday) and in mornings and evenings when they put up or take down the tables and chairs in the central square. Perhaps not for light sleepers but once you know what to... More

I Absolutely loved this place! As soon as we walked in the door of the restaurant we were greeted by the owner and his wife Ann, I think (I can't remember his name) and he made us feel so at home, like we were a part of his family. He took our luggage and fixed us some coffee and a... More
