Haarlem is an excellent alternative if you’re looking for a weekend break that’s a bit different to Amsterdam. This hotel is adjacent to the bus & train station, but far enough away to not be affected by any noise. Bus takes only 30 minutes from Schiphol; there are 5-6 an hour. This is a very convenient location to the train station. The staff was very helpful and accommodating as we checked in early. The room was clean and very comfortable, nice bath tub. Convenient as we were going to tour Corrie Ten Boom House, and it was within walking distance and also close to town square and lots of shopping. Great... More

Seemed to be a very old hotel. Needs renovation. Room was ok but needs to be made up to the Golden Tulip standard. Except the fact that this is near the Train station, nothing else seems to attract the people
