Haarlem is an excellent alternative if you’re looking for a weekend break that’s a bit different to Amsterdam. This hotel is adjacent to the bus & train station, but far enough away to not be affected by any noise. Bus takes only 30 minutes from Schiphol; there are 5-6 an hour. This is a very convenient location to the train station. The staff was very helpful and accommodating as we checked in early. The room was clean and very comfortable, nice bath tub.
