We spent two nights at the B&B and cannot recommend it more highly. Albert Nijmolen is a welcoming, interesting, and generous host. Our room was comfortable and quiet and clean, with a door onto a small garden. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. And the location could not be more perfect for exploring the lovely city of Haarlem or for... More

At the time I booked Mya B&B in Harlem, I found one recent review which was negative. The other reviews were more positive but much older. I ignored the bad review because I usually go with the majority. This time I was wrong. Although I had informed Albert the time of our arrival, he was not there when we arrived... More

We stayed in the Haarlemsch Kwartier part of this B&B. We booked through Booking.com on which website the accommodation looks fabulous. It is situated in an old beautiful building at the Gedempte Oude Gracht in Haarlem. The building is actually an office building used by solicitors and small businesses, which you can hear entering in the morning. When we arrived... More

Stayed 8 days in what turned out to be a great location. Close to Haarlem station and the city centre with lots of interesting places in between. The place has 2 lower rooms divided by a common kitchen. Both rooms have there hiccups. whilst the front room hears all the traffic from people entering at all hours the back room... More

I am just going to tell it like I see it. You decide if you want to take a chance. Had I known about these problems, we would never have stayed here. Our room was in no way comfortable. It lacked small things that could have made a huge difference in our level of comfort. There was no closet, only... More

We stayed in the huge top floor room, up a couple flights of classically narrow and steep Dutch stairs. The room was wonderful, the location very quiet, a very short walk to the train station for easy access to Amsterdam. Also a very short walk to the main square in Haarlem, a city worth a full day of exploration. Albert... More

We arrived with cycles which were quickly stored in the rear yard and shown to our ground floor room. It was named the French room and was very comfortable. We used the electric fan as it was hot. An added bonus was the 1960's Dansette record player which still worked. I was soon playing an old LP with Django Rheinhart... More

Stayed here 3 times now. There are 3 rooms, 2 downstairs and one in the attic. All the rooms are comfortable and clean. The attic room is really great with a large bath in the middle of the room and a large shower to one side. The bed is very large and comfy. The room is airy with loads of... More

The Mya is well located on a quiet street minutes from restaurants, shopping and museums. The ground floor bedrooms and kitchen are recently remodeled and are very modern. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the various attractions. We stayed in the Savanne, a nicely decorated room. The bed was comfortable and as noted was two twins pushed together, fine... The owners were very easy going and helpful. Clean, perfect location, and breakfast with great quality. Lots of good restaurants nearby in Haarlem. Recommend it. 15 minutes by train to Amsterdam and also a beach nearby.
