I'm from Canada and visited my sister in Cheltenham, England in September 2011. We had a weekend visit to Amsterdam (Sept. 9-12) and stayed at Wherels, a friendly and welcoming B&B owned by Rieneke Post. My sister and I were very pleased with the sumptuous breakfast we had for three mornings . Wherels B&B is truly a "home away from... More

We stayed in Haarlem two nights in July 2011. We booked two rooms, one for my wife, son (3 years old) and myself, and a second for my parents. We wanted a location outside Amsterdam that was close enough to commute, we were driving and didn't want the hassle of having to figure out driving and parking in Amsterdam itself.... More

We had a wonderful stay and loved the room and the amazing breakfasts. Rieneke is just lovely and she provided us with great information. Her dinner recommendations were perfect for us - we ate twice at Bruxelles and had a very memorable meal at Spaarne 66. Sauna Van Egmond was enjoyable and relaxing - perfect for a rainy day. On... Harlem is a beautiful city with easy access to Bulbfields, seaside and Amsterdam. Our first time in a B&B and everything was delightful. Clean rooms and good nights rest. Breakfast is excellent and all you could wish for. Hostess, Rieneke is charming and will answer all your questions. Our room on top floor was very quaint but the bathroom could... More

We took our 4 teens to The Netherlands and needed something really nice and affordable with easy access to the train station so we could tour The Netherlands. WhereElse is the perfect place to stay!! We stayed for 9 nights and we slept great. The street is quiet. The beds are very comfortable and I am very picky!! I looked... More

I can only but agree with all of the positive reviews already on Trip Advisor - this is the place to stay in Haarlem and Haarlem is the place to stay on a visit to The Netherlands. We're currently staying in the apartment on the ground floor which still comes with the amazing breakfast that others have already mentioned -... More

Excellent attention to detail on the interior decorating of the room 4th floor. Breakfast was over the top with a nice selection of fruit, cheese and bread etc... Location was quiet but only a short walk to main center of town, train and bus station. Rieneke was very helpful with directions and recommendations. More

Wherels is a very, very nice b&b. Our room (topfloor) was large, with a choice of fresh fruit available and coffee and tea facilities. The kingsized bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was more than we've ever had. Two sorts of fresh fruit juice, different kinds of bread, sliced fresh fruit and much more. Spacious shower with different shower... More

It is one of the best B&B's in Haarlem. Rieneke did her utmost to make us feel welcome, comfortable and at home. She has thought of everything and her attention to the smallest detail made our stay a memorable one. The Where Els is a short walk from the train station. And from there we quickly sped to destinations of... More
