My husband and I stayed at 'n Kat aan 't Rad for only one day (unfortunately). Had we known what a lovely town Enkhuizen was and what a delightful B and B this was, we would have stayed longer. The hosts are so hospitable and the lodgings are spotless. You could eat off the floor! The breakfast was over the... More

My wife and i stayed here for two nights in mid April, and wished we could've stayed longer. We chose this place because we had a car and there was free parking, like others before have said, the hosts (Will and Christine) provide a parking disk, free wi-fi, free amazing breakfasts! and very good location. Will and Christine made us... More

Excellent. Easy parking (owner provides discs) , shops, restaurants and Zuider Zee museum in walking distance. Lovely spotlessly clean ensuite room. Generous breakfast and provision of drinks. Very pleasant owner.

My husband and I stayed at 'n Kat aan 't Rat for two nights at the beginning of May. It was our last stop after spending two weeks in Belgium and The Netherlands, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. The room is incredibly spacious and well-appointed, with a large closet, mini-fridge, and lots of fluffy towels--a... More

This is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Large, quiet, beautiful room overlooking a canal, within 5 minutes walk of city center, outdoor museum, etc. Delicious breakfast brought to our room was incredible. Wil and Christine are perfect hosts who went out of their way to help us and make us feel at home. Price was incredibly low.... More

The title says it all. We have broken long flights on KLM several times by staying in Amsterdam and for this trip we decided to avoid the 'big smoke' and explore a smaller city in The Netherlands. We found Enkhuizen on the advice of a friend and were very pleased with our decision. After deciding on Enkhuizen we chose 'n... More

I am not a B&B person. At all. But if B&Bs are always like this one then I'd be a convert. The room was pristine and beautifully decorated. Located over the garage of the owner's house, it was spacious, welcoming and lovely. The beds were supremely comfortable. The decor -- pale wood, grey, cream and red, was tastefully done. The... I would love to take the accommodation home, and have this as mine! Beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, with loads of little extras - even a "pod-type" coffee machine. After a long day of cycling, the body also appreciated the luxury of a soak in a bath ( virtually unheard of in b and bs in Hlland) as well a refreshing... More
