Nice small hotel, near the ferry, Marine Museum and Naval Base. Friendly staff at the reception (only the girls, not the old guy), nice sauna and jacuzzi (much better than hotel hotels where I've been), average breakfast with not much too choose but with great variety of teas (nice quality ones), however at night the restaurant turns into one of... The hotel is clean, beautiful, confy and gets lots of assets. We slept so good in our room wich has a view on the sea and Texel island. The boat to go to this beach island is just few metters away from the hotel. And this is handy because there is much to do in Texel than Den Helder. We had... More

We had to stay here because we were visiting friends, who didn’t have extra beds for us. The personel is really friendly and helpfull. I’m a wheelchair user, they don’t have special rooms, but they have a special toilet. I got a nice big room on the ground floor. The lady that answered my call, took pictures and send them... More

Good, comfy and friendly hotel with great views. Ideal stay for working locally or visiting the marine museum. Restaurant provided good dinner and breakfast with friendly service. Food served up to 9.30 and breakfast from 6.30

We stayed two nights - would have stayed longer because it is convenient for work but the rooms are block booked by an oil company during the week. The location and the view over the water is really good. The room was OK, a fair size with no extra comforts. We were is the annex, over the restaurant and there... More

I have had to stay in Den Helder for the past two months for business and I really enjoyed my stay in Lands End. It is arguably the best hotel in Den Helder. It all starts with the very kind and helpful staff from reception to cleaning to restaurant. The restaurant is one of the best in Den Helder as... More

2 night stay. Welcome from Concierge was warm and friendly. NO language barrier here. Balcony view of North Sea was spectacular, even as the sun set at 10.30 PM! Room was small but functional, and with a very comfortable bed, I relaxed easily. Spent an evening watching Football in the bar/lounge, reasonable prices. Distance from Den Helder central is about... The staff was extremely courteous and the restaurant is very good. The rooms are large with two small but comfortable beds. The only advice is that staying on the 4th floor is not advised. I stayed in rm404 for a couple weeks and didn't sleep well due to the amount of traffic on the 5th. I think a family lives... More

Have stayed here a few times now and find it very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Good views looking out to sea and the rooms are large and comfortable with wifi, safe, tv. The Restaurant is always busy during the day which is a good sign. Breakfast consists of cold meat, cheese, bread, cereal with eggs and... More

Ideal location for travelling round Holland especially Texel. Friendly staff. Clean and good size room with brilliant views and balcony. The balcony was accessible from all the rooms on that floor. This meant it was unsuitable to leave your door open in the warm evenings. The was no air con and no electric fan. We weren't particularly hot but I... More
